| My boyfriend and I went on the chocolate tour during a weekend in NYC. We both love chocolate and were very excited about the tour after reading numerous positive reviews. We actually missed our original tour due to a delayed flight, but Bert and Carmen were more than willing to get us on another tour the next day. They were amazing to accommodate us! The tour was incredible and we highly recommend it for all you chocolate lovers out there! The tour goes by fairly quickly, there is minimal walking, and you get to sample NYC's best chocolates. I never thought I could have "too much chocolate" but this tour will surprise you! Bert was also an incredibly fun and knowledgeable tour guide. Overall, great experience and tons of fun! | ||||||

| Our tour guide, Burt, knew a lot about the process of making chocolate, its history and culture, as well as how to really appreciate it. We visited five great chocolate shops, got to try two piece of chocolate from each shop and, at two shops, had very luxurious hot chocolate. Burt was very personable and helped us to enjoy our 2.5 hour experience. My wife and I definitely recommend this tour for anyone who wants to try upscale chocolate and even just to learn about the chocolate culture. | ||||||

| Took the gf for her bday - she loved it. I'm not much of a chocolate fan, but there were some delicious treats, interesting stops and leftovers to take home (tough to eat all the chocolate they provide). Our tour guide was great. I didn't love walking around midtown east in a group of nine people on a Saturday though. Certainly worth it otherwise. | ||||||

| Absolutely amazing!!!!!! Bert is the best tour guide in the world. Ask him about the toilet in the Chrysler building. One piece of advice, bring something to drink to wash down all the chocolate. | ||||||

| Wanted to do something a little different for my boyfriend's birthday present, something we could enjoy together. Such a great afternoon. Our tour leader was friendly, knowledgeable, and surprisingly honest. (He told us why certain chocolates were his favorite, why some were just not up to par, and why others deserved to be spit out.) Not only did he know the history of the stores we visited, he also answered our questions regarding chocolate and its production. But nerdy stuff aside, it was fun and delicious, and we now know a few gems we probably wouldn't have found otherwise. WARNING: Do not eat for at least two hours prior to the tour. You must leave room for all these amazing treats. And remember to take risks. Sometimes the weird ones are the tastiest. | ||||||

| Bert was a WONDERFUL tour guide. My boyfriend and I were fortunate to be the only two on the tour. Bert taught us about chocolate as well as many things about NYC that we didn't know. We were visiting a friend who lives in Manhattan but since Bert had been living in NYC for so much longer he really had a lot more interesting things to tell us. The four chocolate shops we visited were awesome! We would have never found them on our own or had any idea how great they were. It was nice that our guide had tried almost all of the chocolates. Usually you want to try something new but don't because you don't really know what your getting yourself into. All of the chocolates we tried were delicious and the hot chocolate we had was BEST I have ever tasted. After the chocolate tour ended, our guide was kind enough to give us directions to a theatre we were headed to and even recommended a couple of his favorite restaurants- which we visited and loved. The money for this tour was well spent. Our stomaches were full from all of the chocolate. If you want to do something fun and different while in NYC, go on this tour! | ||||||

| A group of friends and I did the New Cuisine chocolate tour for my roommate's bachelorette party, and we had a fantastic time! Bert, our tour guide, was personable and full of great information about the chocolate shops we visited and the whole chocolate industry. The shops had an interesting variety of pieces, incorporating many flavors not typically found in chocolate. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys chocolate and wants to try something new. | ||||||

| This tour was soooooooooooo good! Such good chocolate to taste and the tour guide was a lot of fun and super nice. I unfortunately was a little late for the tour and the tour guide, Bert, called my cell phone to tell us where to meet him. He also was going to get us samples from the places we might have missed...thankfully nothing was missed! We even got more than just two samples at some places. It was absolutely delicious! I have been to NYC a bunch of times and probably have past these chocolate shops and never even thought twice about going in them. I will definitely have to stop by them again to try some more chocolate! | ||||||

| I live in brooklyn and when my mom came to visit we wanted to get to the second tier fun new york. I had an excellent time, Bert is a great guide, gives just enough information about chocolate without getting too technical or boring. Loved all the shops we went to and even enjoyed the 'break" with some cheesecake! would most certainly recommend. | ||||||

| The New Cuisine Chocolate tour was a fantastic way to explore and learn more about the city I live in through a food I love - chocolate! Learning about the chocolate makers and their art really gives you an appreciation for what they do. Bert, our host, was very accomodating and insightful. I took my parents and a friend of the family (all locals) and we all had a great time and learned a lot. I highly recommend this tour for people who love to learn and have an appetite for quality chocolate :) | ||||||

| Burt was a wonderful tour guide, you can tell he has a true passion and love for chocolate. The tour was very informative once you are done you can have fun bragging about your new found knowledge of chocolate. I took my fiancé on this tour for his birthday, and he loved it. It was also a really beautiful walk around the city. | ||||||
