| There were eight of that did the tour together and we all totally enjoyed ourselves. The chocolates were wonderful and we certainly had enough to taste. There was enough time given to wander around the stores and purchase anything that you might want. Our tour guide was excellent and answered our questions and gave us lots of information regarding chocolates. Our tour guide also mentioned that you are thinking of doing a wine and dessert tour which is something that we all thought would be fun to do too. The only problem that we encountered was that the meeting place was not correct on our papers. All 15 people that went on the tour had the wrong information. In the future it would be better to make sure that the proper meeting place in correct. Thank you very much. We enjoyed it totally. | ||||||

| My sister and I took the tour together. We found our guide, Bert, to be extremely knowledgeable about the chocolates and the places we visited. He was also very personable and enthusiastic. You could tell he loved what he was doing. The owners of the shops we stopped at were also very friendly. The chocolate samples (and we could make our own choices) were delicious. The next time we are in the City, we intend on taking one of their other tours. | ||||||

| This is such a fun way to spend an afternoon in Soho. We went to little known stores and trendy spots, too. Each chocolate recommendation was perfect and we ate so much that we had to take some samples home for later. We really appreciated learning how to truly taste chocolate! Our guide was entertaining and made everyone feel comfortable. What a great time! | ||||||

| My husband and I just took this tour as part of a 10th wedding anniversary weekend in NYC. It was so much fun. Burt, the tour guide, could not have been nicer or more accomodating, the chocolate shops were welcoming, and the chocolates were divine!! At one stop, the chocolates were chosen for us; we were able to choose our own pieces to taste at the other four. A very fun way to spend an afternoon, and a must do for any chocolate lover (and who isn't?). | ||||||

| Our tour guide was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and personable. The vendors we visited were hospitable and the chocolate was delicious. After tasting really good chocolate everything else pales by comparison. There was a lot of walking, especially to the last vendor, which I chose not to go to because I use a cane. The weather was unseasonably hot and humid making the walking more difficult for me. I have already recommended the tour to my friends and family. | ||||||

| This was not exactly what I had in mind. My fault ... the leader was excellent, enthusiastic, and can be recommended to anyone. My husband and I did not feel compatible with the group .... perhaps another day we would have enjoyed it more. | ||||||

| They key to our appreciation of this event was tour guide Bert James, whose pleasant and informative manner helped heighten our enjoyment. One small quibble -- for the price, I think participants should get more than two pieces at each store -- 3 or 4 would seem more of an indulgence, and indulgences are what this tour's all about. | ||||||

| First of all I loved Burt, our tour guide. He was so knowledgeable and helpful. The chocolate stores were amazing. You would think when you walked in these stores, they would be very snooty, but it was just the opposite. They were extremely nice and helpful. ( you could tell they also enjoyed being around Burt). It was a nice walk, but you could take as long as you needed. I highly recommend this tour. I would go again. | ||||||

| bert combines history and fun facts with all the charm and consideration you would expect from a southern gentleman. our tour never stinted on time in a shop, we had all the time we wanted to spend at each stop . each stop was educational and fun and i will never look at milk chocolate in the same way. i can actually taste the nuances! would i do it again? you bet i would! | ||||||

| We enjoyed each of the different shops and the varied chocolates. It was fun to see a different side of New York and get away from some of the more typical "tourist" spots. | ||||||

| My husband and I absolutely loved our Choco Tour in Soho. It was truly one of the highlights of our NYC vacation. The chocolate was great and I doubt we'll ever eat Hersheys again. We keep fantacizing about Kee's creme brule` truffles. The best part of the tour was Bert. He is such a warm, personable and knowledgeable guide. It was one of the most pleasant afternoons we've spent in a long time. | ||||||

| The Luxuury Tour was far more worthwhile and fun than I had expected! I took this tour since the other, seemingly more my style of tour, was full. Wrong!! Our tour guide, Burt, was an added bonus.... full of salient facts, bits of interesting history, and seriously interested in giving us a fun and educational time. The guy knows his chocolate! The route of the tour was fine for a walking tour, even though the day was hot and muggy. And the chocolatiers we visited were excellent examples of fine chocolate making, and were eager to help us buy their products and answer our silliest questions!! I'm a chocolate retailer, and I learned a ton from Burt. My only suggestion to Burt was to figure out a way for his customers to buy the chocolate and not have to carry it around during the tour on a hot and muggy day. Not an easy question to answer! I thought the price was a little steep until I realized I was eating more chocolate than should be legal for one day by one person!! And the education for someone seriously interested in learning about chocolate, was worth every penny. Now I can only hope the other tour is available on my next NYC visit!! | ||||||

| Our tour guide was extremely enthusiastic, helpful, and friendly. Though we only were able to see three stores instead of four due to the Labor day weekend, the tour was more than satisfactory. It has renewed my interested in chocolate and I would highly recommend this tour to others, foodies and non-foodies alike. Thanks for the great time! | ||||||
