Wonderful Way to Spend a Sat. Afternoon in NYC!!

| I brought my chocolate-loving fiance on this tour for his birthday. Being Belgian, he has extremely high standards, but he absolutely loved it!!! Our guide, Bert, was AWESOME, extremely knowledgable, and so much fun - and we were lucky enough to get a "private" tour since the others cancelled (on what turned out to be an extremely frigid day). We will definitely be interested in taking some of his other tours. Even though we are locals, we still had a great time hearing all of his stories and taking his flavor recommendations. Plus, I'm not a big fan of chocolate myself, but even I enjoyed all of the great tastings & learning everything about chocolate and the people who make it. | This is the second tour we have been on and it was great. We had the same tour guide, Burt, and I was hoping beforehand that we would have him again. He is very knowledgeable, extremely friendly and very personable. You really have a gem of an employee in Burt. We will definitely be taking another tour in the near future. Thanks. | ||||||

| Fun to be with a small group and to taste all the chocolates. Was nice to hear about the background of the shops. Perfect for a girl's Mother's Day weekend for me, my 7 year old daughter and my mother! | ||||||

| Bert was a great guide. He shared his knowledge of chocolate, chocolate and wine combinations, and the city chocolate shops. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who loves chocolate. Bert was fun and we very much enjoyed his company and tour. | ||||||

| great and informative tour guide, was very comfortable talking to everyone in our group. chocolate was wonderful, although, i never thought i would say this, it may be a couple weeks before i can eat chocolate again. | ||||||

| Loved learning about chocolates, and about the high quality artisan chocolatiers here in New York. Now I know where to order great gifts, and where to find chocolates of the type I'd only had in France or Belgium before. I would enjoy taking future visitors on this tour again. Our guide Carmen was excellent . | ||||||

| I highly recommend the wine/chocolate tour. Bert was a wonderful guide and my family had a fabulous time! The wines were great with the delicious chocolates. So fun and we can't wait to try the downtown tour. | ||||||

| Bert, the tour guide, is very knowledgeable. He is also very likable and fun. This is the second tour we have taken with him and both have exceeded my expectations. You learn about chocolate and some interesting facts about NYC too. I also really like the shops we visited and will be returning on my own to buy more chocolate as I have done with the shops on the other tour. To make a long review short, I highly recommend this tour!! | ||||||

| I booked this tour but being the only person signed up, it was canceled (the tour requires a minimum of 2 ppl to run). However, I was offered the Union Square Chocolate, Wine & Culture Tour, which was excellent. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, which made the whole thing fun. The choice of ventures was good as well. I especially enjoyed the second shop. | ||||||

| This tour was one my wife wanted to do but I enjoyed it very much too. The tour guide, Bert, was exceptional! His knowledge of the tour and New York in general was excellent. His professionalism and friendly nature made for a very nice 2-1/2 hour tour. I enjoyed the walking and chatting as much as the chocolate tour. My wife LOVED the tour. I guess I never knew a thing about chocolate but Bert educated us! The shops we went to were unique and enjoyable too. | ||||||

| This was a wonderful experience. A casual , but exciting trip to the world of gourmet chocolate. We learned many wonderful things about chocolate making. Our palates were treated to an extraordinary range of tastes. We could not have hand picked a better guide than Bert. | ||||||

| Recently, on a very, very, hot Sunday afternoon, my husband and I arrived in Manhattan for a cruise departing the following day. We had never been to Soho so decided we would kill two birds with one stone by taking the Chocolate Tour there instead of uptown and seeing the Soho area. We arrived at the appointed meeting area and were met by Bert, our guide who informed us we were the only two taking the tour that day! Being true chocaholics, a little heat wave would never have stopped us! The tour was amazing, especially given the private tour we were getting! Bert is extremely knowledgeable and equally personable and entertaining! Being that we own a candy and confection shop, we never thought we would learn as much as we did. When we return to the city, we will definately take one of the other chocolate tours! | ||||||

| I'd recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in exotic chocolates, marketing strategies, and packaging ideas. The short walks between shops gave time to digest both our treats and the info disseminated from our guide. Bruce was both informative and an enthusiastic fan of chocolate in its many and diverse forms. | ||||||
