| Our guide was very knowledgable about chocolate -- I had no idea there was so much to learn! Her interaction with the group made it more fun -- she asked questions and got us involved in conversation instead of giving a lecture. My group was small (3) and that was really nice. | ||||||

| Having taken the deluxe chocolate tour in March my wife and I knew we were in for a treat when we signed up for the New Cuisine Chocolate Tour. We knew the chocolate would be great, but most of all we knew with Bert leading the tour, that the whole expereince was going to be informative and fun. We brought our nieces and their mom along for this tour and I'm not sure the nieces were sure they would like it, but after meeting Bert and after that first chocolate shop, they were thrilled. The shops (and the samples) are, of course wonderful, but what makes this especially enjoyable is the way Bert combines just the right amount of information (explained simply and clearly) with all of the great chocolate. He is a truly personable, enthusiastic young man who loves sharing his love of chocolate with everyone. He is the best tour guide we have ever encountered. We get to New York a few times a year and we're looking forward to our next visit so we can hook up with Bert again for the Union Square chocolate tour. These tours are more than worthwhile, they are a real treat and one of the highlights of a visit to New York. Don & Kathleen Burns | ||||||

| We didn't know quite what to expect, but it turned out to be one of the true highlights of our visit to New York. Our tour guide (Bert) made the expereince even more enjoyable with his humor, his knowledge, and his genuinely friendly attitude. He came across as a true chocolate lover and eager to share his passion. Moreover, he conveyed facts with an informal yet interesting style. To put it simply we were super impressed with him. We plan to return to New York in June with our nieces and high on our "to do" list is this tour. We can't wait to share it with them. Finally, we learned enough from Bert about chocolate that we purchased several varieties of drinking and sipping chocolates to try here at home. Of curse, we also had to bring home a supply of the eating variety too. We would (and already have) enthusiastically recommend this tour to anyone with even the slightest interest in chocolate or in just having a pleasant afternoon. | ||||||

| We throughly enjoyed this chocolate tour. Burt was extremely informative and very nice. The two hours flew by! Burt answered everyone's questions and provided much fun along the way to the chocolate shops. We looked so forward to this activity and it far exceeded our expectations. We can hardly wait to return to NYC to take the other chocolate tour Burt does. Even if you aren't a fan of chocolate, you need to take the tour to meet Burt, he was so much fun. | ||||||

| This was my THIRD chocolate adventure with Bert! And, as usual, the experience was entertaining and educational and well worth my precious time while visiting the best city in the world! The chocolatiers we visitied seemed enthusiastic about the opportunity to tell us about their products and the addition of bakery thoughts was a nice new wrinkle. If you haven't discovered the Union Square neighborhood yet, this tour is a must just to get Bert's perspective of this incredibly interesting part of NYC ...to say nothing about the delicious port served at our first stop!! | ||||||

| We enjoyed the New Cuisine tour as much or more than the European Tour a month earlier!! Burt was knowledgable and entertaining, and he made sure we all moved at a pace that worked for our group. Just like its neighborhood (SoHo), the New Cuisine tour was full of fun, unique, and full of delicious examples of what chocolate should taste like. We loved the close proximity of the stops and the enthusiasm of the chocolatiers we visited. Way to go Zoom! I can't wait to try your wine&chocolate tour!! | ||||||

| The Luxuury Tour was far more worthwhile and fun than I had expected! I took this tour since the other, seemingly more my style of tour, was full. Wrong!! Our tour guide, Burt, was an added bonus.... full of salient facts, bits of interesting history, and seriously interested in giving us a fun and educational time. The guy knows his chocolate! The route of the tour was fine for a walking tour, even though the day was hot and muggy. And the chocolatiers we visited were excellent examples of fine chocolate making, and were eager to help us buy their products and answer our silliest questions!! I'm a chocolate retailer, and I learned a ton from Burt. My only suggestion to Burt was to figure out a way for his customers to buy the chocolate and not have to carry it around during the tour on a hot and muggy day. Not an easy question to answer! I thought the price was a little steep until I realized I was eating more chocolate than should be legal for one day by one person!! And the education for someone seriously interested in learning about chocolate, was worth every penny. Now I can only hope the other tour is available on my next NYC visit!! | ||||||

| Wanted to do something a little different for my boyfriend's birthday present, something we could enjoy together. Such a great afternoon. Our tour leader was friendly, knowledgeable, and surprisingly honest. (He told us why certain chocolates were his favorite, why some were just not up to par, and why others deserved to be spit out.) Not only did he know the history of the stores we visited, he also answered our questions regarding chocolate and its production. But nerdy stuff aside, it was fun and delicious, and we now know a few gems we probably wouldn't have found otherwise. WARNING: Do not eat for at least two hours prior to the tour. You must leave room for all these amazing treats. And remember to take risks. Sometimes the weird ones are the tastiest. | ||||||

| This activity was so much fun. We love chocolate and it was fun to learn more about it. Each store had a different flare and approach to making chocolate. It was fast paced and entertaining. I would recommend this tour. I ordered additional chocolate from 4 of the 5 stores so far. | ||||||

| I read about the chocolate tour in the AM New York newspaper and decided to try it out as something different and fun to do for my husband's 30th birthday. The tour exceeded my expectations and both my husband, a true chocoholic, and myself had a wonderful time. Bert, our tour guide, was friendly and informative and the ability to choose the chocolates we wanted to taste at the various shops was awesome. I've lived on the upper east side for 7 years and had never been in any of the selected shops before this tour. I have certainly been missing out. The chocolate was of the finest quality and so delicious that I don't know how I can go back to the supermarket brands! All in all the day was great. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who loves chocolate. It's definitely worth it. | ||||||

| It was my first trip to New York filled with lots of other activities, but I must say that this was probably one of the highlights. Our tour guide was great and the shops that we got to visit felt like a part of New York that I would never have been able to experience in the same way on my own. | ||||||

| We are a married couple with very small children. We took the tour as a special date for the two of us. It was terrific. We actually did both chocolate tours and they were equally good. I think we prefered the uptown tour. The shopkeepers on those were much more interesting and friendly. Carmen was our guide and we could not have asked for better. | ||||||

| We have been on two New York Cultures Tours and they have both been fantastic. Last year we did the Food and Culture Tour with Berry. This year we did the Wine and Chocolate Culture tour with Burt. As I have said ,both were great, Burt and Berry are excellent guilds. We have recommended these tours to our friends who have all a great and informative time on the tours. When we plan our next visit to nyc a New York Tour with yourselves is a must. Kind regards. | ||||||
