the tour guide was great. he really liked his job. the shops could have however sent us on our way with a little ' dogy bag'. it would have cost them hardley anything and would've make a nice impression. |

Interesting walking tour . The stores were tiny but the samples were good. Difficult to have cohesion in such a busy and crowded city. Tour guide was enthusiastic.
We never attended such a tour before and wasn't sure what to expect. |

We can't recommend this tour enough! We found the New Cuisine Tour on-line and since we like to take in culinary events whenever we are visiting somewhere interesting we chose your Chocolate Walking Tour. We've been telling all our friends that it was the highlite of our NY experience! Bert, our guide, was great fun: personable and extremely knowledgable. Though it was very hot over the Memorial Day weekend we were able to zip into one of the many chocolate shops to cool down and sample their wonderful specialties. Bert's idea of providing "cold pak bags" was brilliant as it allowed us to buy gifts for all our friends without worrying about them melting during the tour or before getting them back to our hotel. Our teenage guest also loved this tour so Thank You NYChocoTours for a thoroughly enjoyable introduction to the Chocolate Paved Streets of New York! |

We had fun since we wanted to be on the tour but the guide was not great- she did not provide info on the history of chocolate - and overview to differences of the chocolates - she was enthousiastic but not much more than that - it was not worth the $70 per person!! |

Definitely a fun thing to do on a Saturday afternoon. It was a beautiful day which made it very enjoyable. Nice walk around the UES and some good chocolates to go along with it. Made for a fun day and a memorable experience in Manhattan. |

This was such a great experience. The tour guide (Burt) was very knowledgeable of the topic and was so very in tune with each of the our interests and needs. Burt made sure we all had a good time as well as that we learned from the experience as well. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves chocolates! You will learn a lot about chocolate AND get the chance to try some of the world's best chocolates. Never would I have had the chance to try these chocolates had I tried to find them on my own. I will say, though, that there was/is one draw back to having gone on this tour: Hersey just doesn't do it for me anymore. I am now a chocolate snob! Such a wonderful experience! Thanks Burt! |

The New Cuisine Chocolate tour was a fantastic way to explore and learn more about the city I live in through a food I love - chocolate! Learning about the chocolate makers and their art really gives you an appreciation for what they do. Bert, our host, was very accomodating and insightful. I took my parents and a friend of the family (all locals) and we all had a great time and learned a lot. I highly recommend this tour for people who love to learn and have an appetite for quality chocolate :) |

This was a 21st bday mother/daughter treat.
All the stops on the visit provided superb choc samples, and the tour guide was very enthusiastic, informative and helpful. We paid up as, being chocoholics, we thought it might be worth it, and also it was a special occasion. We would recommend everything about the trip, except that it is probably only worth half the price! |

This tour was fantastic. Our guide, Bert, was personable, funny, and had a tremendous base of knowledge about chocolate. The tour was kept at a leisurely pace and contained a huge amount of information and wonderful chocolate. We started at Saks Fifth Ave and went to five shops. We received 2 samples at each shop. If you want to do something "different" in New York - this is it!! |

As a long time tourist and one who often goes on tours in cities this one takes the cake and it is chocolate. I would caution you to eat some protein before this tour as the chocolate high starts early on this tour. By the second stop I was buzzing. All my friends want to go with me to NYC next time. Why? We can't resist the concept of a chocolate tour with a very knowledgable guide and goodies too delicious to describe. My only regret-I didn't buy a thing. I was way too busy enjoying myself. I will be back and I will be doing this again. Do I reommend this-Absolutely positively YES!!!!! |

Both me and my mom are chocolate fanatics, and when coming upon this tour, we immediately signed up. Needless to say, the chocolates are absolutely out-of-this-world! Not only did we have a great time tasting the chocolates (with the tv crew filming us), our wonderful guide gave us a detailed history of chocolates, along with interesting facts that we never knew.
High recommended! |

I recently took this tour and was very happy with the whole experience! I've had some of the chocolate makers they take you to on the tour but had never been to visit them. It was interesting to see their facilities and chat with the chocolatiers. Our guide was fun, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I must warn you though, this tour involves a LOT of chocolate, you gotta pace yourself, don't make the same mistake I did... |
