| Highly recommend this trip through some excellent gourmet shops throughout SoHo. Bert was a delightful guide, the staff in each shop was also very nice and helpful, but the chocolate was the real star. Worth the price, and then some. | ||||||

| The tour size was kept small and was conducted in a very informal fashion which made it all the more enjoyable. The tour progressed at a leisurely pace and I relished the fact that you had more than adequate time to purchase more chocolates if needed. Our guide was very knowledgeable in the realm of chocolates and made great suggestions on what to try/not try. I felt that the overall selection of venues was carefully thought out and had a good representation of European chocolates. Although, I must comment on that the Irish shop despite having a very tasty hot chocolate drink, had a limited selection of chocolates that did not quite fit the style of the other 4 shops. To recap - a wonderful experience indeed. I will definitely be going back to visit a few of those shops on my own, some I probably would have never found had it not been for the tour! | ||||||

| Very pleasant walk around a great neighborhood, interesting to learn about the love behind chocolate making, Bert our guide was brilliant and followed up with additional information to help us with our trip to New York. He is the best and I still dont know which was my favorite chocolate, there were so many! | ||||||

| It's everything you ever wanted to know about chocolate. A great education about the delicacy. For example, chocolate comes from a fruit. At least, that's what I gathered. Guess it makes it an essential part of a balanced diet. Be prepared to tip the scales after the tour though, many chocolate samples later. Tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and very personable. Bravo!!! It's a must do while in New York. If you're going to eat chocolate, you may as well learn about. This tour pulls off both items rather nicely... | ||||||

| My wife and I went on the European Chocoloate Tour as a gift for her birthday. My wife really enjoys chocolate and I thought this would be a great way to spend an afternoon. It turned out to be a great decision and we both had a wonderful time - here is why. First, our guide (Bert) was really awesome. He was engaging and informational, knew everyone at the shops and was just very pleasant to spend two hours with. Second, it was fun walking around trying different cholocates and learning why various countries have a different approach which leads to different tastes. Third, our guide was awesome. Seriously, I have been on many of these types of tours (various cities throughout the world and in the US and in different formats) but the single most important aspect is the tour guide. Plus, you are guaranteed to get Bert because he does all the tours. You will have a great time for a very reasonable price. We followed-up by going to a wine bar then out to dinner. I make this point to highlight that you don't gouge yourself on chocolate but you get enough great and different tastes to enjoy the event. I promise, I am not always so complimentary when I provide these reviews. This just happened to be a very good experience. | ||||||

| Our tour guide, Burt, knew a lot about the process of making chocolate, its history and culture, as well as how to really appreciate it. We visited five great chocolate shops, got to try two piece of chocolate from each shop and, at two shops, had very luxurious hot chocolate. Burt was very personable and helped us to enjoy our 2.5 hour experience. My wife and I definitely recommend this tour for anyone who wants to try upscale chocolate and even just to learn about the chocolate culture. | ||||||

| Took the gf for her bday - she loved it. I'm not much of a chocolate fan, but there were some delicious treats, interesting stops and leftovers to take home (tough to eat all the chocolate they provide). Our tour guide was great. I didn't love walking around midtown east in a group of nine people on a Saturday though. Certainly worth it otherwise. | ||||||

| Absolutely amazing!!!!!! Bert is the best tour guide in the world. Ask him about the toilet in the Chrysler building. One piece of advice, bring something to drink to wash down all the chocolate. | ||||||

| Wanted to do something a little different for my boyfriend's birthday present, something we could enjoy together. Such a great afternoon. Our tour leader was friendly, knowledgeable, and surprisingly honest. (He told us why certain chocolates were his favorite, why some were just not up to par, and why others deserved to be spit out.) Not only did he know the history of the stores we visited, he also answered our questions regarding chocolate and its production. But nerdy stuff aside, it was fun and delicious, and we now know a few gems we probably wouldn't have found otherwise. WARNING: Do not eat for at least two hours prior to the tour. You must leave room for all these amazing treats. And remember to take risks. Sometimes the weird ones are the tastiest. | ||||||

| Bert, our tour guide, was very knowledgable, professional, and polite. He made the tour a lot of fun. We had a small group which was a plus. All of the stops on the tour had excellent chocolate. Well worth the time and money! | ||||||

| This is a great way to spend a few hours in Manhattan, and the quality of chocolate sampled is superb. The only drawback is that with all the official samplings and a few extras thrown in you will be eating the equivalent of sixteen truffles in three hours. Pace yourself and plan on no further food that day, maybe even the next! The tour guide I had was top notch! Ken | ||||||

| The tour was excellent. I enjoyed learning about the different types of chocolate and methods of preparing the chocolate from start to finish. Burt was wonderful and personable! He was enthusiasic and knowledgeable. We were fortunate to have a private tour as we were the only group schedule for that particular day. It was a fun event. | ||||||
