Amazing . . . A Must Do!

| I HIGHLY recommend the NYC Luxury Chocolate Tour! It's a must do for both tourists and NYers. It's definitely worth the price. Once you taste these chocolates . . . you won't want to go back to the stuff you buy in the grocery store! Be adventurous and try things you wouldn't necessarily try. We had chocolate with basil and olive oil and chocolate infused with rose petals. Both were delicious. Our tour guide Bert was the absolute best! He was knowledgeable and just plain fun. I'd love to take another tour with him again one day. Now . . . stop reading this and go buy your ticket! | ||||||

| Our adorable guide was extremely knowledgeable not only about the process of making chocolate, but about the history of the chocolatiers we visited. We gained a lot of information and probably a couple of pounds from the samplings! | ||||||

| The tour size was kept small and was conducted in a very informal fashion which made it all the more enjoyable. The tour progressed at a leisurely pace and I relished the fact that you had more than adequate time to purchase more chocolates if needed. Our guide was very knowledgeable in the realm of chocolates and made great suggestions on what to try/not try. I felt that the overall selection of venues was carefully thought out and had a good representation of European chocolates. Although, I must comment on that the Irish shop despite having a very tasty hot chocolate drink, had a limited selection of chocolates that did not quite fit the style of the other 4 shops. To recap - a wonderful experience indeed. I will definitely be going back to visit a few of those shops on my own, some I probably would have never found had it not been for the tour! | ||||||

| Thank you Bert!!! How awesome to find a tour unique for locals and visitors to NYC!! My 14 old daughter and I had the day off and I wanted to do something interesting and fun. This tour covered it! We know more about chocolate than we ever thought could be possible. Bert is so knowledgable about the process of making chocolate to the intricate aromas, and flavors. His suggestions were superb. We were able to freely choose two pieces from each shop and two of the five we were given hot chocolate.. each very different. Our small group of nine was diverse, interesting and fun. Bert set the tone at the first shop and we were able to mingle and chat walking along 5th avenue and vicinity. We highly recommend a leisure two hours with Bert . Thank you, we loved you and all that you know about chocolate! | ||||||

| We had such a great time on the tour. My sister and I took my mom for her birthday. The tour guide, Bert, was really nice. He called us when it got close to noon to make sure we were on our way. It was nice of him, instead of just leaving without us. He was very knowledgeable and said happy birthday! to our mom. The chocolates and hot chocolate were delicious. It was raining, but it really didn't matter. We didn't even notice because we had such a good time. We told some friends about it when we got back home and recommended it on Facebook. Thanks again! | ||||||

| I do not consider myself a "chocoholic" but this amazing tour through the beautiful streets of Soho could make me into one! The tour guide was fun and informative and he provided just enough background and insights. I would definitely sign up again and for other tours as well. | ||||||

| My wife and I went on the European Chocoloate Tour as a gift for her birthday. My wife really enjoys chocolate and I thought this would be a great way to spend an afternoon. It turned out to be a great decision and we both had a wonderful time - here is why. First, our guide (Bert) was really awesome. He was engaging and informational, knew everyone at the shops and was just very pleasant to spend two hours with. Second, it was fun walking around trying different cholocates and learning why various countries have a different approach which leads to different tastes. Third, our guide was awesome. Seriously, I have been on many of these types of tours (various cities throughout the world and in the US and in different formats) but the single most important aspect is the tour guide. Plus, you are guaranteed to get Bert because he does all the tours. You will have a great time for a very reasonable price. We followed-up by going to a wine bar then out to dinner. I make this point to highlight that you don't gouge yourself on chocolate but you get enough great and different tastes to enjoy the event. I promise, I am not always so complimentary when I provide these reviews. This just happened to be a very good experience. | ||||||

| I took my friend on this for her Birthday and she just loved it!!! It's a walking tour but we didn't walk all over the place where we would be exhausted. I was so glad that we were able to tour the stores and not feel tired! The chocolate tour was outstanding. Our guide new so much about each store and the chocolate they carried but he did not go on and on and turn the tour scientific. It was an amazing time! I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat chocolate and enjoy NYC while learning about the culture and taste of this amazing fruit!!! YUP it's a fruit!!! | ||||||

| Took the gf for her bday - she loved it. I'm not much of a chocolate fan, but there were some delicious treats, interesting stops and leftovers to take home (tough to eat all the chocolate they provide). Our tour guide was great. I didn't love walking around midtown east in a group of nine people on a Saturday though. Certainly worth it otherwise. | ||||||

| I highly recommend the NYC New Cuisine Chocolate Tour. I found the tour surfing the web for something different to do in the big apple and have no regrets for booking it. Our tour was a very small intimate group including myself, friend and the tour guide Bert. I found Bert to be extremely knowledgeable, personable & very friendly. We walked leisurely to 5 lovely shops in the SoHo area. At each Chocolatier we sampled chocolates, learned about chocolate, chatted and relaxed. I didn't really know what to expect from the tour and I enjoyed myself and would go back again perhaps in the winter when I can bring stuff back without worrying if it the confections would melt. | ||||||
