Learned more about quality chocolate that could be imagined. Every stop was truely an indulgence fit for kings, queens and emperors. Could one get too much chocolate? This tour will certainly get you on your way. Only the best of imported chocolates. We highly recomend this tour for any chocolate lover

Thank you for a wonderful chocolate tour. We took the New Asian Chocoloate tour and were surprised at how much we learned. Our tour guide Bert was very informed and open to questions. We were taken to some of the most wonderful chocolate places and found ourselves savoring some of the best chocolate tastes--and found stores we didn't even know existed! Thank you again. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a new and fun experience--and a taste of the best chocolate in the Big Apple!

This is a GREAT tour!

My 17 year old daughter and I enjoyed this tour on a COLD, WINDY nor'easter of a day in uptown Manhattan; we were the only two booked for the tour that day, and we had a blast!! Fabulous chocolate, incredibly educational and complete fun! All of the shops we visited (and, of course, sampled the good stuff in) were personable, and seemed genuinely happy to have us there. But the best part was our guide, Bert! He was a wealth of knowledge and we walked, talked and ate chocolate non-stop. He made the tour (which was already terrific) even better!! I would highly recommend this activity; when I next visit New York, you can bet I'll be booking the Soho chocolate tour -- and requesting Bert. Don't miss a great opportunity to eat sweet and learn a lot!

Bert was a wonderful tour guide. He gave us a lot of information about each chocolate store and told us which chocolates were his favorite. The shops that we visited were very welcoming. There is a lot of walking on the tour but the shops were spaced out so you did not notice the distance.

Loved learning about chocolates, and about the high quality artisan chocolatiers here in New York. Now I know where to order great gifts, and where to find chocolates of the type I'd only had in France or Belgium before. I would enjoy taking future visitors on this tour again. Our guide Carmen was excellent .

Our guide was wonderful, very informative and enthuastic. She really made a difference in making the tour so enjoyable. All the places we visited had excellent chocolate with lots of variety, and our guide was very knowledgeable of all of the shops. Highly recommended for chocolate lovers!

If you love chocolate and want to try the best, this is a great afternoon activity. It was fun and leisurely. Our tour guide Bert was lively and informative and seemed to really enjoy the tour himself.

I thought I knew what GOOD chocolate was, until I took this tour! I love chocolate, I thought I had a wide variety of knowledge on the subject but as I found out on the tour I know very little. The Chocolatier's that we visited where full of history and each had a wide variety of unique chocolate to try. Our guide Bert was awesome! He is friendly, informative and a great guide. He was pleasant to have a conversation with. It is an all walking tour, but that is a good thing, it gives you time to rest between tasting. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR!!!!! AND BERT!!!!!!

We had such a good time on our chocolate walking tour. Not being from New York City, it was great to meet people that were familiar with the area and also loved chocolate. We went to several chocolatiers that I had never heard of and they were all very delicious, service was friendly and helpful, and our tour guide Bert, did an excellent job.

I purchased this tour as a present for my Mother's 51st B-Day. I had previously gone on the uptown Luxury tour with my girlfriend, and had very high expectations after having such an enjoyable experience there. To my delight I found that the same tour guide was doing the downtown tour as well, and not only that, the whole group was just my mother and I! It's extremely impressive to me that, despite the small crowd, the tour was not canceled and the tour guide was just as bright and friendly as he had been on the uptown tour (except on that tour there was about 15 people, not just 2!) We had an absolutely fantastic time and really got to discover some of the chocolate treasures surrounding So-Ho. My mother did nothing but rave about what a good time she had afterwards. As a note to others hoping for a possibly smaller group... Sundays, according to our guide is the slowest day. As I previously stated, I've attended tours through this company with larger, and now with very intimate groups, no matter what the size is, you can't miss!

My sister was in town visiting for her birthday weekend in NYC and we took the tour with Bert on a Friday afternoon. It was fantastic. As a local New Yorker, I had visited some of the chocolate shops on the tour, but most of them were a new experience for me -- they were all fabulous. Bert was an excellent tour guide -- extremely knowledgable about the art and history of chocolate. My sister and I had a great time (we were a bit spoiled too, because it was just the two of us, and it was like having a private tour guide). My understanding and appreciation of fine chocolate has gone way up. Loved it!

A Sweet Respite

The New Cuisine Chocolate Tour was a great way to spend a Sunday with family in town. Two hours is the perfect amount of time and there was just enough anecdote peppered with education to make the tour interesting and not at all boring. We made some amazing chocolate discoveries in Soho that will serve as invaluble outlets for gifts -- or just plain chocolate cravings. Carmen is fun and knowlegdeable and I think my family enjoyed her nearly as much as the creme brulee chocolate at Klee.

HAD A GREAT TIME!

Our guide was very knowledgable about chocolate -- I had no idea there was so much to learn! Her interaction with the group made it more fun -- she asked questions and got us involved in conversation instead of giving a lecture. My group was small (3) and that was really nice.
