| What a terrific way to spend an afternoon in NYC. Bert, our guide was great, friendly, knowledgeable and down to earth. Favorite spots were Neuhaus, Charbonnel,and La Maison. Appreciated the extra touches some made in preparing for our arrival, showed terrific customer service. We learned so much about the process of chocolate making from the ground up. We most liked learning about the differences in mass versus private production. We now a have a whole new library of places to visit for a special treat. We highly recommend this tour for something different. I even recommend this for all gentleman younger and older as a date idea. | The tour was great! The tour guide was even better! He was very knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic, and a pleasure to listen to. Lots of information on chocolate that I didn't know about, and the chocolate at each shop was wonderful. | ||||||

| Absolutely amazing!!!!!! Bert is the best tour guide in the world. Ask him about the toilet in the Chrysler building. One piece of advice, bring something to drink to wash down all the chocolate. | ||||||

| Wanted to do something a little different for my boyfriend's birthday present, something we could enjoy together. Such a great afternoon. Our tour leader was friendly, knowledgeable, and surprisingly honest. (He told us why certain chocolates were his favorite, why some were just not up to par, and why others deserved to be spit out.) Not only did he know the history of the stores we visited, he also answered our questions regarding chocolate and its production. But nerdy stuff aside, it was fun and delicious, and we now know a few gems we probably wouldn't have found otherwise. WARNING: Do not eat for at least two hours prior to the tour. You must leave room for all these amazing treats. And remember to take risks. Sometimes the weird ones are the tastiest. | ||||||

| We went as a group of book club members for something fun and different to do in the city for the day. We had a great tour with Bert James and he was extremely informative and fun to be with, i highly recommend this tour...yummy and a great walk through SoHo. | ||||||

| This was a fun tour. My sister and I wanted to do something fun and different in NYC and we love chocolate so this was perfect. The first stop we paired 2 pieces of chocolate with 2 different wines. Great start. Next we stopped at a shop and had a choice of 4 pieces of chocolate. We stopped at city bakery and were served a huge chocoate chip cookie and some frozen hot chocolate. yum. We stopped at another shop and were given a little bag of 4 chocolates. This shop had samples of some of their cakes too. Last stop we had 2 pairings of chocolate with its matching liquor. Bert was a genuinely nice tour guide and had lots of information to share. Be prepared to walk. My sister and I love walking so it was a plus for us considering how much we were eating. We started at 31st street and ended at around 4th. Some other reviews talked about how there was too much chocolate but if you save the packaged chocolates for later, it's perfect. I also liked how it wasn't all chocolate pieces and the cookie and chocolate drink was a welcome surprise. | ||||||

| Although the day was wet and gray, the group was truly great! Bert was very informative. I did not know there were such delicious chocolate shops in mid town. After the 3rd shop We had to save the pieces of chocolate for it did get to be too much. I liked this tour so much, I will be booking the wine and chocolate tour next. | ||||||
