| This was my first time in NY and the first tour I completed. I found the tour guide to be fun and informative and the group mix of people consisted of international and individuals from across the USA , with one common interest. LETS EAT CHOCOLATE!!!! Being able to walk from one store to another gave you the opportunity to speak to others and also take in the sites. The variety and differenc of the 5 stores visted made for a good cross section of sellers, so I was pleased to get to try different makers and blends of flavours. Of course the down side to the tour was we only got to sample 2 from each location!!!. This meant I had to buy more which was sooooo hard to do as I struggled to find the best ones as they all were so good.!!!! None the less I would highly recommended this tour to anyone ( which I already have) and I will do it again next time I visit NY. Thanks for a great experience and great chocolates to indulge myself with :) | ||||||

| We loved our Chocolate Tour! My daughter works in SoHo and she never would have found these places on her own....it was so interesting on several different levels - mostly on the CHOCOLATE level! The "insiders" tips on the chocolate were right on and we enjoyed the company, the diversity of the flavors and the chance to really get in and enjoy the subject. Our guide was fun and interesting and he allowed us to pace ourselves, physically and chocolate-wise. Everyone we've told about it has said, "How fun! How interesting!" - and it was. A true Chocolate-Lover's DREAM! (Even my daughter uttered words I NEVER thought I'd hear fall from her lips at the end of the tour: "I think I'm all chocolate-d out!) Next trip I'm going to do the OTHER Chocolate Tour! :-) | ||||||

| We were a threesome of 50 year old friends from high school. One was a first time visitor to NYC. It was a cloudy coolish day but the walk around to the chocolate stores (and Elaine's) was heart warming. We had a knowledgeable and very calm tour guide which made the tour sooo much better. Thanks! Highly, highly recommended activity while in NYC. | ||||||

| We have a whole new perspective on chocolate now. Bert (Burt?) was the guide for myself and my 16-year old daughter. He was knowledgeable, great personality, lots of fun. Interestingly enough, upon our return to California, the very next day, the LA Times had an article on chocolate shops in France - three of them we had visited on the NY tour. Be sure and keep Bert working for you, he's a credit to your company. Thanks | ||||||

| My friend and I had did this for our friend's birthday gifts and she loved it. Bert was great - informative and entertaining, and his enthusiasm spread to all the members of the group. Our only problem was with the last place we went, Debauve & Gallais. It seemed like the clerk working at the time was annoyed w/our presence in the store and he came off as kind of rude. And when other customers came in, he ran over to them to apologize for us being in the store, like we were ruining the place. It seems to me that if Debauve & Gallais is that unhappy w/tour customers being in their shop, they should take themselves off the itinerary. This unpleasantness didn't ruin our experience overall though - we would definitely recommend this tour to others who love chocolate as much as we do... Thanks again, Bert!! | ||||||

| My daughter, who lives in New York, bought us, my husband & I, tickets for the tour, for my birthday. We had a wonderful time! We learned alot. I have always LOVED chocolate, but this tour was very interesting. Bert, the tour guide, was awesome! He knows so much about this tour, & about New York! He was wonderful! We told our daughter to take this with a group of friends.............they would love it! We have told everyone about it, & since she lives there, she is going to tell her friends & the people she works with! Tell Bert, for us, thanks again, for a great time! | It was pouring rain the day of our tour and our guide showed up right on time. We were the only 2 people on our tour so we got the private show. We were so lucky! Everyone connected with the tour including those in the chocolate shops were kind and very understanding when we asked all sorts of questions. I fell in love with chocolates from one of the places. It totally replaced my former #1 pick which was also on the tour. If I hadn't taken this tour I would never have found the place. I highly recommend this tour. You will learn a lot about chocolate, taste some fabulous chocoate and come home with way too much chocolate. | ||||||

| My friend and I played hooky from work to do this. Neither one of us can be described as a "chocoholic", but it looked very interesting and different, so what the heck? Bert was an excellent host, very informative and friendly, as well as down to earth and attentive. Every place we went to was lovely. City Bakery was an okay stop, I understand it was to rest and chill out, but it was a bit icky upstairs. Delish cookie and hot chocolate though.I would have rather spent more time at Ayza...Wow that place is terrific!! I will say I found the most interesting stop to be Vere. Not only was the chocolate scrumptious, but the ladies there so wonderful and accomdating and knowledgeable. I have already recommended Vere to several people in my office, and a couple of co workers and I are going to go to Ayza next week. Really, a terrific tour and a terrific host! | ||||||
