I have been on many walking tours in New York and this is the best. You learn a lot about chocolate and you get to taste some of the best chocolate that you will ever have in your life! Bert, our tour guide was excellent - very friendly, knowledgeable and interesting to visit with. He makes everyone feel welcome. I highly recommend this tour!

the tour guide was great. he really liked his job. the shops could have however sent us on our way with a little ' dogy bag'. it would have cost them hardley anything and would've make a nice impression.

Had a good time and enjoyed our guide very much. We were informed that a cheescake stop was recently added to the tour. Great idea, but I wish it was later in the tour. We weren't "chocolated" out yet when we got there ( 2nd stop), but I liked the idea of mixing things up! My only other comment was that the tour ended pretty far away from the first shop ( was thinking we'd end up where we started) and ended up having to walk all the way back to the first shop where we left our car. Would be a good idea to set expectations that it's not an insignificant trip back to the first shop and a cab might be a good idea if you didn't get there by train or subway originally. We had a good time and would recommend it to others.

Bert, the tour guide, is very knowledgeable. He is also very likable and fun. This is the second tour we have taken with him and both have exceeded my expectations. You learn about chocolate and some interesting facts about NYC too. I also really like the shops we visited and will be returning on my own to buy more chocolate as I have done with the shops on the other tour. To make a long review short, I highly recommend this tour!!

My Mother & I were in NYC for a week as a "Mother's Day" gift to ourselves ! We had been to the City several times over the years & I heard about this tour on TV. After internet search, found the SoHo tour & was so glad we picked that one ! Burt was terrific, it ended up being just the 3 of us -- which was also great ! Kees was my favorite stop, We had no idea tasting chocolate could be so fasinating. Burt did an EXCELLENT job as guide. And we 2 southern belles were so glad we came on a tour right after his "tour from H#%$ " to improve the course of his day !! We had a great time, had some WONDERFUL chocolate & would highly recommend the tour.

First of all, our guide was outstanding. He was knowledgeable and very down to earth. The tour itself was lots of fun and lots of food. I would have preferred another chocolate stop instead of the cheesecake but the two friends I was with disagreed and thought the cheesecake was a welcome change from chocolate. I would definitely consider other tours given by this company.

Fun to be with a small group and to taste all the chocolates. Was nice to hear about the background of the shops. Perfect for a girl's Mother's Day weekend for me, my 7 year old daughter and my mother!

The tour was excellent. I enjoyed learning about the different types of chocolate and methods of preparing the chocolate from start to finish. Burt was wonderful and personable! He was enthusiasic and knowledgeable. We were fortunate to have a private tour as we were the only group schedule for that particular day. It was a fun event.

My husband surprised me with the NYC Luxury Chocolate Tour and it was wonderful. Our tour guide Bert was fun and extremely knowledgeable about the history of chocolate. The 2.5 hour tour took us to chocolate shops we never would have known about and every shop had a different story. The tasting allowed you to try different types of chocolate from rich dark chocolate to creamy milk chocolate. If you are looking for something unique to do in this great city I highly recommend this tour.

My mother and I went on this tour together. We had a great day. It was a great way to spend the day in the city. We enjoyed all of the shops. The addition of the cheesecake store was a plus. The tour guide really added to the fun of the day.

I set the tour up for my wife who LOVES chocolate ... I think I ended up enjoying the tour as much as she did. It was good learning where some of the top chocolateers in the city are, not to mention tasting some great chocolates. Tour guide was very nice and informative.

Great fun. Excellent tourguide: enthusiastic, knowlegeable and personable. Excellent chocolates: many varieties and types to learn about and to taste. Excellent walking route: not too long or difficult to follow. In short: go!

Two years ago, I took my 12th grade daughter to the mid-town luxury choc tour and we loved learning so much about something so few really know about - the joys of real chocolate. Just last week, i took my younger daughter, now in 10th grade on the SoHo tour. The tour guide is highly professional and quite knowledgeable, and we were taken to some really incredible places we'd never have gone if on our own. The guide knew the people at each spot and was able to describe virtually every kind of chocolate and its taste which helped all of us pick those we liked most. This is a real, professional tour by a skilled and knowledgeable operator who has a well-honed passion for the best in chocolate. It is a memorable experience.
