Wonderful Way to Spend a Sat. Afternoon in NYC!!

| I brought my chocolate-loving fiance on this tour for his birthday. Being Belgian, he has extremely high standards, but he absolutely loved it!!! Our guide, Bert, was AWESOME, extremely knowledgable, and so much fun - and we were lucky enough to get a "private" tour since the others cancelled (on what turned out to be an extremely frigid day). We will definitely be interested in taking some of his other tours. Even though we are locals, we still had a great time hearing all of his stories and taking his flavor recommendations. Plus, I'm not a big fan of chocolate myself, but even I enjoyed all of the great tastings & learning everything about chocolate and the people who make it. | My wife and I enjoyed our tour! We were impressed with the choice of chocolates! The tour guide did a fabulous job making it an educational yet entertaining experience. I would definately recommend it! | ||||||

| We absolutely loved this tour and Burt our guide! He was so sweet and personable and we had great conversation with him as we traveled from shop to shop. The chocolate was delicious and it was so exciting to see and sample all the different styles and flavors. It was definitely worth the money and we would highly recommend this tour to anyone! | ||||||

| The chocolate was amazing and the tour was worth the money. Each stop was a shoppe with its own personality and history, with very unique tasting chocolates. I would recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys chocolate. | ||||||

| We loved Burt! He was very knowledgeable and personable. He was easy to listen to and was very patient with the group. We went to 5 terrific places to taste different kinds of chocolate and the experience was surprisingly interesting and marvelously tasty. It was a "throw-your-head-back-and-moan" eating experience. The kids (18 and 15) were also excited. We picked out our chocolate pieces, moved to an open space, counted to 3 and popped the delectable into our mouths together.....This tour is a must-have for adventurous families or groups who are celebrating a fun event (We were there for Daniel's birthday). | ||||||

| What a great way to celebrate my mom's "special" birthday! We learned so much and I will never look, taste or smell chocolate the same way. We had a knowledgeable and patient guide and it was truly great fun! I recommend it highly. | ||||||

| Bert (the tour guide) was friendly and extremely knowlegable. The tour group was a good size. The chocolate is amazing and I learned a lot! The only down side was that if you take a tour in the warm weather you cannot bring chocolate home as easily. I am already planning my next tour. Don't eat a big lunch before the chocolate tour! | ||||||

| The pace for this tour was good, we visited 5 locations with samples at each. As a local I wanted to be introduced to places I did know. The discovery of the Maribel shop was a gem. The tour guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I would recommend this tour. | ||||||

| This was a fun tour. Of course the chocolate tasted great and we were encouraged to try unusual tastes. Also, the tour guide was excellent and the tour was leisurely. We learned a lot about how chocolate was made as well as background on how each of the shops got started. The area of the city (SoHo) was also fun to see. Probably best not to do this tour in very hot weather. | ||||||

| The NYC Luxury Chocolate Tour was a really good time and highly educational. I have lived in NYC for over 5 years but had never visited any of the shops on the tour. Our tour guide, Bert, was unbelievable knowledgeable about the chocolates themselves and how they are made. I would definitely make a point to request Bert as your tour guide. He was amazing! | ||||||

| Two 60 year olds, one 40 year old and an eight year old. The tour leader was very nice and gave us many chocolate facts. Our grandson tried everything and was given extra chocolate instead of the wine. We visited five places, including a chocoate factory where we ate a number of chocolates and had each one explained. We all had a fun afternoon and didn't need dinner, except for our grandson who ate some pizza and wanted chicken soup after the pizza and chocolate! | ||||||

| I loved the tour, we got to taste a lot more chocolate than I anticipated, all you can eat at the first one. It was a good distance and the tour guide, Bert, was absolutely fantastic. He was knowledgeable and very friendly. The only drawbacks were there wasn't enough tasting samples at the chocolate studio and one of the pastry shops...one piece seemed like kind of a rip off. Also, we didn't drink much wine, only two glasses...so maybe I'd do just the regular chocolate tours. All in all though, I loved it and my mother throughly enjoyed it. It was Mother's Day gift for her. However, when I told her the price she seemed to think it wasn't worth the money...so I don't know. I loved it though, so two enthusiastic thumbs up. | ||||||
