| Even better than expected. Our guide was fun, informative, and interesting. Learning about the making of chocolate was almost as fun as eating it! What could be better than a walk through Soho with a great guide, close friends and awesome chocolate! | ||||||

| We went as a group of book club members for something fun and different to do in the city for the day. We had a great tour with Bert James and he was extremely informative and fun to be with, i highly recommend this tour...yummy and a great walk through SoHo. | ||||||

| This was a fun tour. My sister and I wanted to do something fun and different in NYC and we love chocolate so this was perfect. The first stop we paired 2 pieces of chocolate with 2 different wines. Great start. Next we stopped at a shop and had a choice of 4 pieces of chocolate. We stopped at city bakery and were served a huge chocoate chip cookie and some frozen hot chocolate. yum. We stopped at another shop and were given a little bag of 4 chocolates. This shop had samples of some of their cakes too. Last stop we had 2 pairings of chocolate with its matching liquor. Bert was a genuinely nice tour guide and had lots of information to share. Be prepared to walk. My sister and I love walking so it was a plus for us considering how much we were eating. We started at 31st street and ended at around 4th. Some other reviews talked about how there was too much chocolate but if you save the packaged chocolates for later, it's perfect. I also liked how it wasn't all chocolate pieces and the cookie and chocolate drink was a welcome surprise. | ||||||

| The guide, Bert, was a delight. We had so much fun on this tour, it's totally worth the money! The chocolates are all delicious, and we went back to Jacques Torres for more hot chocolate the same day! I plan to go on the Luxury tour next! | ||||||

| A group of friends and I did the New Cuisine chocolate tour for my roommate's bachelorette party, and we had a fantastic time! Bert, our tour guide, was personable and full of great information about the chocolate shops we visited and the whole chocolate industry. The shops had an interesting variety of pieces, incorporating many flavors not typically found in chocolate. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys chocolate and wants to try something new. | ||||||

| Bert, the tour guide, is very knowledgeable. He is also very likable and fun. This is the second tour we have taken with him and both have exceeded my expectations. You learn about chocolate and some interesting facts about NYC too. I also really like the shops we visited and will be returning on my own to buy more chocolate as I have done with the shops on the other tour. To make a long review short, I highly recommend this tour!! | ||||||

| First of all, our guide was outstanding. He was knowledgeable and very down to earth. The tour itself was lots of fun and lots of food. I would have preferred another chocolate stop instead of the cheesecake but the two friends I was with disagreed and thought the cheesecake was a welcome change from chocolate. I would definitely consider other tours given by this company. | ||||||

| The tour was excellent. I enjoyed learning about the different types of chocolate and methods of preparing the chocolate from start to finish. Burt was wonderful and personable! He was enthusiasic and knowledgeable. We were fortunate to have a private tour as we were the only group schedule for that particular day. It was a fun event. | ||||||

| My friend and I played hooky from work to do this. Neither one of us can be described as a "chocoholic", but it looked very interesting and different, so what the heck? Bert was an excellent host, very informative and friendly, as well as down to earth and attentive. Every place we went to was lovely. City Bakery was an okay stop, I understand it was to rest and chill out, but it was a bit icky upstairs. Delish cookie and hot chocolate though.I would have rather spent more time at Ayza...Wow that place is terrific!! I will say I found the most interesting stop to be Vere. Not only was the chocolate scrumptious, but the ladies there so wonderful and accomdating and knowledgeable. I have already recommended Vere to several people in my office, and a couple of co workers and I are going to go to Ayza next week. Really, a terrific tour and a terrific host! | ||||||

| We were a threesome of 50 year old friends from high school. One was a first time visitor to NYC. It was a cloudy coolish day but the walk around to the chocolate stores (and Elaine's) was heart warming. We had a knowledgeable and very calm tour guide which made the tour sooo much better. Thanks! Highly, highly recommended activity while in NYC. | ||||||

| The New Cuisine Chocolate tour was a fantastic way to explore and learn more about the city I live in through a food I love - chocolate! Learning about the chocolate makers and their art really gives you an appreciation for what they do. Bert, our host, was very accomodating and insightful. I took my parents and a friend of the family (all locals) and we all had a great time and learned a lot. I highly recommend this tour for people who love to learn and have an appetite for quality chocolate :) | ||||||
