Loved it!

I thought I knew what GOOD chocolate was, until I took this tour! I love chocolate, I thought I had a wide variety of knowledge on the subject but as I found out on the tour I know very little. The Chocolatier's that we visited where full of history and each had a wide variety of unique chocolate to try. Our guide Bert was awesome! He is friendly, informative and a great guide. He was pleasant to have a conversation with. It is an all walking tour, but that is a good thing, it gives you time to rest between tasting. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR!!!!! AND BERT!!!!!!

Chocolate Fun

My wife and I had a blast. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and chose some very good spots. After 10 pieces of chocolate (2 at each stop), a few additional samples, and two double shot sizes of hot chocolate, we were ready to go into a chocolate comma. If you love chocolate, you'll love this. If you're looking to learn, and not eat, don't waste your time, as the chocolate fun is all about eating chocolates. A bit pricey, but if you can handle spending the money, you're sure to have a good time.

I would say this tour should be around $40.

When I signed up for this tour, I knew it would be fun, as well as yummy! You can't go wrong with chocolate, but the tour was so much more fun than I expected! I went by myself, and the tour guide and everyone else on the tour was so much fun...I felt like I had taken the tour with friends! I learned a lot about chocolate, and now I know what chocolate shops to go back to when I want some really good chocolate!! :)

Exquisite and Delicious

The tour guide was a lot of fun. He knows how the chocolate is made, how it should taste, how it should be prepared, and he clearly loves it. He knows the neighborhood and all the people. He gave us great recomendations on what to sample. We had so many samples that we could not eat them all. Most we really delicious and many were very interesting combinations not normally associated with chocolate. We love to try new foods. This tour is great for those who love to experiment and for those who just want a lot of great chocolate. My husband and I were on this tour without children, but I think the kids would also have liked it. Thanks for a great tour.

ALOT OF CHOCOLATE

Lots of different types of chocolate to choose from; almost too many choices. The chocolatiers were very diverse which was interesting and the tour guide, Bert, was excellent and friendly. Nice locales as well like Saks, Bloomingdales, Rockefeller Center area and Park Avenue. No negatives to report; nice way to spend the day in the city.

We enjoyed our chocolate tour immensely! Our guide (Carmen)was charming, very knowledgable and enthusiastic about chocolate and New York! It was not only a great way to see SOHO, but also a great view into the independent spirit that makes this little neighborhood unique and exciting. Definitely recommend this tour!!

Different from normal activity

Had a lot of fun, probably because, in order, (1) it was an activity of a type we would not normally be exposed to, and (2) it was interesting and informative with respect to its subject matter. As a resident, it would not normally occur to me to take a tour of anything. But there is a distinct and favorable difference between being taken on a tour and exploring something yourself.

Great for Sweet Lovers to Explore Manhattan

I went on the chocolate tour around Soho with a few friends and found it so interesting. Not only were we enjoying amazing chocolates, but we were learning about it all the while exploring Manhattan in a new way. As a local who loves the city, this is a great thing to do with friends, a significant other or family members! Our guide Bert was so friendly and informative...I highly recommend it!

Bert, our tour guide, was very knowledgable, professional, and polite. He made the tour a lot of fun. We had a small group which was a plus. All of the stops on the tour had excellent chocolate. Well worth the time and money!

Very intersting tour with interesting shops. Information was quite enough. A good selection of different chocolate shops. May were interested in more tasting . I would recommend a better meeting place. Saks is to crowdy.

I went on the NYC New Cuisine Chocolate Tour and it was amazing. I tried all kinds of chocolates that I have never seen or tasted before and it was unique experience. I also proposed to my girlfriend on this tour and the tour guide, Bert was so helpful and helped me set everything up and it was perfect! I highly recommend going on this tour, you won't regret it! I am definitely going back on the Luxuxy tour next time!

EVERYONE SHOULD GO TO THE TOUR!

I am not a chocolate lover at all, but my girlfriend is and I booked the tour as a birthday present for her. Being a non-chocolate lover, I really enjoyed the tour very much! That's how good it is. The guide was very good, and he was very helpful and friendly. My girlfriend enjoyed the trip so much, she called it the best tour she ever had. I know that there were 2 people who couldn't make it to the tour, and at all the chocolate shops we visited, the tourguide made sure that those 2 persons got their share of the samples as well. That is extremely thoughtful of him. I would strongly recommend this tour to anyone.
