There were eight of that did the tour together and we all totally enjoyed ourselves. The chocolates were wonderful and we certainly had enough to taste. There was enough time given to wander around the stores and purchase anything that you might want. Our tour guide was excellent and answered our questions and gave us lots of information regarding chocolates.
Our tour guide also mentioned that you are thinking of doing a wine and dessert tour which is something that we all thought would be fun to do too.
The only problem that we encountered was that the meeting place was not correct on our papers. All 15 people that went on the tour had the wrong information. In the future it would be better to make sure that the proper meeting place in correct.
Thank you very much. We enjoyed it totally. |

I went to the Luxury Tour and the New Cuisine Tour. Yes I am a choco-olic. They were different and both de-li-cious. We where lucky to have Bert as our guide for both of them. He is passionate, funny and he knows chocolate very well. We already know how chocolate was discovered , so he concentrated on what it tastes and the sensation it procures. What a pleasant way to discover New-York. We learn a lot, even if we have great "cholatiers" in Montreal. |

My sister and I took the tour together. We found our guide, Bert, to be extremely knowledgeable about the chocolates and the places we visited. He was also very
personable and enthusiastic. You could tell he loved what he was doing. The owners of the shops we stopped at were also very friendly. The chocolate samples (and we could make our own choices) were delicious. The next time we are in the City, we intend on taking one of their other tours. |

The choice of chocolate shops was excellent, offering a real contrast of styles, decor, etc. The guide was fantastic--really knowledgeable and friendly. Have already recommended this tour to friends. |

Bret was informative about chocolate. It was a relaxing stroll through SOHO stopping in to various chocolatiers to taste their drinks and candy. WOW! It doesnt get much better than that.
We learned about some of the owners, how chocolate is made and more about NYC too.
The other people on the tour were locals so it was equally fun to meet them and learn about living in the city.
I recommend this tour and the tour guide.
There was so much chocolate i had to save a piece to eat later! |

We loved our Chocolate Tour! My daughter works in SoHo and she never would have found these places on her own....it was so interesting on several different levels - mostly on the CHOCOLATE level!
The "insiders" tips on the chocolate were right on and we enjoyed the company, the diversity of the flavors and the chance to really get in and enjoy the subject. Our guide was fun and interesting and he allowed us to pace ourselves, physically and chocolate-wise. Everyone we've told about it has said, "How fun! How interesting!" - and it was.
A true Chocolate-Lover's DREAM! (Even my daughter uttered words I NEVER thought I'd hear fall from her lips at the end of the tour: "I think I'm all chocolate-d out!)
Next trip I'm going to do the OTHER Chocolate Tour! :-) |

Our group enjoyed the tour of the Soho chocolate "boutiques." Learning more about chocolate itelf, as well as the "stories" of the various shops we visited was very interesting. Our guide Carmen was knowledgeable and a lot of fun Plus the chocolate was divine! |

My family very much enjoyed our chocolate tour in Soho! Our guide, Carmen, was informative and enjoyable. She knows her chocolate and now so does my family! Even my 11-year-old nephew had a great time! Our thanks to Carmen!

My sister and I bought this as a present for our mom, who is a chocoholic! we all live far apart so it was nice to do something we thought would be special when we were able to be together. we ended up being the only ones on the tour, so it was like our own private lesson with Mehdi, our guide. A chocolatier himself, he provided an abundance of knowledge and insight into each of the five shops to which we went. He hand picked each chocolate we tasted, and showed us a variety of styles in choosing the different shops, which made the tour a lot of fun. He even gave us a map so we could see where we were going, and to have for future reference :)
if you have a chocoholic that deserves a special treat, this is a great option. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but it was worth it. I'm a bit biased because we had such a great guide, but I can guarantee a good time if Mehdi is your host. |
