Activity Description
The Downtown Dog Tour will give you a view of Manhattan that you’ll never forget. If you think you’ve seen it all in this city, join us on this tour and let our licensed guide introduce you to a completely different New York perspective.

Of course, this tour is just as much fun for our canine participants as it is for humans. It’s the ideal walking tour for those who are looking for a doggie-friendly outing in NYC, those who are wanting to know more about New York’s historical downtown area, and those who simply want to take a stroll around the city with other dog lovers.

You’ll enjoy a hot dog (what else?), and your pet will dine on a delectable doggie treat.

Your walk will begin at Bubby’s Pie Co. in SoHo and will continue along the Hudson River, where you will discover all kinds of little-known facts and historical information. Be sure to bring your camera to capture the amazing views of Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty, and Ground Zero.

You will learn about:

  • The Piers along the Hudson River
  • Cliffs of Weekhawken
  • The first game of baseball played in Hoboken NJ
  • Where Titanic was supposed to dock
  • Nelson Rockefeller park
  • The Statue of Liberty
  • Ellis Island
  • Financial Center and Ground Zero
  • Wall Street Bull
  • New York Stock Exchange
  • Trinity Church
  • Staten Island Ferry
  • Castle Clinton
  • Winter Garden Theater
As with the other tours, there are enough parks to please the pets, enough fascinating sites and trivia to entertain the humans, and delicious treats to delight everyone.
