Sunset Dinner Cruises

We recently moved to Naples and my husband suggested this to celebrate our Anniversary. There were four of us in our party. The prime rib and fish entrees were excellent, along with the rest of the meal! The staff were all friendly and helpful. Top off the great meal with a beautiful sunset on the gulf! We will definitely recommend this to our family and friends when they come to visit.

My husband and I hosted our grandson and his girlfriend on the cruise. My grandson had served in the Marines in Iraq (two tours) and had returned to the US to receive his B.S. degree. All four of us were very pleased with the cruise. The food was great. The cruise was scenic and the sunset was beautiful.

Good day, We are a couple in our early 40s, we took the Naples Princess cruise with our boys (7&11) and my wife's parents on a Tuesday night using special promo code(SD1) we reserved 'Supper & Cruise for the 4 adults + 2 kid's meals at a cost of approx. $260 THE SUPPER - buffet style (self-serve) and included a choice of Pork Loin, Chicken, mixed vegetables and potatoes - all were semi-warm and taste was average, at best.The kids had chicken tenders with fries - both were cold and chicken tenders left somewhat of a spicy after-taste(due to the seasoning used). THE CRUISE - 2hr round trip, leaves at 7pm and returns a 9pm. The boat itself is Very Nice with 3 different levels to sit on(2 levels offer air-conditioned spaces). The tour is somewhat narrated, with Captain offering different info on surrounding area - problem was the volume level being too low so we weren't always able to make out what the Captain was saying. The tour goes through some channels and you get to see some very nice real-estate (approx. 90 minutes) - if real estate is not your thing then I suggest you skip this tour. Finally you get to go out into the Gulf of Mexico...but only to catch the sunset (approx. time spent in Gulf 20 minutes) and if you get VERY lucky as we did - you not only get to catch a magnificent sunset, but also see the dolphins play. Overall, I was satisfied with this experince as the Sunset & Dolphins more then made up for the food quality/taste. My STRONG recommendation - skip the supper and take the CRUISE only option. Also, we had 2 Marguerittas + 1 Vodka Cranberry at a cosy of $32 + tip - both drinks were good and all the staff was very pleasant, professional & friendly.

For the cost, nonalcoholic beverages should have been included. Oh, you could get coffee or HOT tea. Why is iced tea $4.00? Alcoholic beverages were $8.00 each. The food was very good and hot. We were served on the main floor and it was very hot in the room, everyone was perspiring ! For us locals, this will be a one time occurance. The staff were all nice and attentive.

IT WAS THE BEST ANNIVERSARY WE EVER HAD! WE CELEBRATED OUR 47TH.... IN STYLE.... GREAT SUNSET NIGHT..GREAT SHIP.... VIEWS FROM EVERY WARE ... DELICIOUS FOOD.... YOUR STAFF TREATED US ROYAL!!!!!!!! WE HAVE BEEN TELLING ALL THAT WILL LISTEN. A TOP SHELF CRUISE!!!!!! Judith Hallman

FOR THE PRICE OF 65.00 PER PERSON, I REALLY FEEL THE DINNER MENU SHOULD CONSIST OF ALOT MORE CHOICES. ALSO, I HAD CALLED A COUPLE OF DAYS AHEAD OF TIME, INQUIRING WHETHER WE CAN GET A PLAIN FISH FOR SOMEONE WHO IS ALLERGIC TO NUTS. I WAS TOLD THE ONLY FISH THEY EVER DO IS PECAN-CRUSTED TILAPIA, I DON'T THINK THIS IS VERY CUSTOMER FRIENDLY. I WAS OFFERED A VEGETARIAN PLATE AS AN ALTERNATIVE. THAT TOTALLY MISSES THE POINT. THE OTHER ISSUE I HAD WAS THE DESSERT TABLE. WHEN THEY RAN OUT OF ITEMS, THEY NEVER REFILLED THEM. THEY ONLY PUT ABOUT 10 OF EACH OF THE MORE POPULAR ITEMS, SO IF YOU WERE NOT ONE OF THE FIRST PEOPLE IN LINE, YOU WERE STUCK WITH SPICE CAKE OR KEY LIME PIE. ALSO, PEOPLE WERE USING THE SAME SPATULAS AND SERVING UTENSILS FOR ALL THE DESSERTS, AND FOR SOMEONE WITH A NUT ALLERGY, THIS COULD BE DEADLY. THEY HAVE A STAFF MEMBER STANDING THERE HANDING OUT SALAD AND ROLLS, WHY NOT DO THE SAME WITH THE DESSERT-OR AT LEAST PLATE THEM SO PEOPLE ARE NOT USING THE SAME UTENSILS AND DIPPING INTO ALL THE DESSERTS. I FEEL THAT THE CRUISE LENGTH OF 2 HOURS IS TOO SHORT, FOR THE MONEY PAID.

The ship seems brand new, the crew is friendly, fun and professional. The food was great. The cruise passes many beautiful homes and great scenery.

We just love coming on the Naples Princess. The crew and dinner was outstanding! This was the 3rd time for us to take this cruise and we recommend it to everyone! Thank you to a wonderful cruise and we will be seeing you again!

The boat was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good, with drinks extra. The tour round the inland lakes with the beautiful houses was a great backdrop to eat dinner. The best part was watching the sunset and then heading back in the fading light to the harbour.
