I have taken this cruise 3 times. It is a fun and relaxing way to enjoy Naples. I'm certain that it is something that I will be doing again. |

Very comfortable ship with many seating options both inside and out. Good speaker system on all floors and the narration was detailed and interesting. Although I can understand not narrating during the close proximity to homes while in the Port Royal canals, I would have liked to learn more about the Port Royal home owners, houses, etc. Crew was very friendly and helpful, the boat was smooth and I very much appreciate leaving and returning at the designated times. I would enjoy another type of cruise in the future - sunset, dinner, lunch, etc. Thank you. |

My wife and I are new to Naples and the Princess cruise was recommended to us as a neat way to see more of Naples and to enjoy getting out in the sun and the fresh air. We had a wonderful time and got some nice pictures. We especially enjoyed watching the dolphin leap ouf of the water right in front of us! We plan to bring company and to enjoy it again and again. Thanks. Roy and Nancy Threet |

A little disappointing. The boat cruised to the end of the harbor where it opened into the Gulf and turned around and cruised back. It did take one side tour into part of Port Royal on the way back. There was very little commentary but what was said was interesting. The tour cost $80 for the two of us which included a $3 online discount. This is a beautiful, partly air conditioned, relatively new, ship but the tour is not worth the money. They are very interested in selling you lunch, drinks, and snacks while aboard which are not included in the cruise price. As a comparison, we took the trolley tour a week earlier and it took us on a 31 mile tour (two hours) of Naples, with almost non stop narration, for $50...a much better value and a lot more informative. So, if you are interested in a nice leisurely cruise (one speed), for a hour and half, past many multi million dollar waterfront mansions, this may be the activity for you. Otherwise, given a choice, we would recommend the trolley tour. Other than possibly the boat ride itself I do not think this would be a good activity for young children. |

Our family: 4 adults and 2 children (6 & 2 1/2) was delighted with the Naples Princess and crew.
The commentary was excellent, but we missed quite a bit as we were talking with the children.
The length of the cruise was just right for our group and we enjoyed the availability of snacks and drinks while cruising.
We plan to come again for a sunset cruise with adult friends. |
