Sunset More Than Hors D'oeuvres Cruises

The cruise was quite nice, however, it would have been better if it had been timed differently. We set sail at 5:45 PM, and sunset was at 6:28 PM. Therefore, we had more darkness than daylight, and couldn't see anything shortly after sunset. I think it would have been better if we had left earlier and had more time on the boat while it was light. The food was delicious and much more than hors d'oeuvres. We considered it a full meal and very satisfying. The personnel working on the Princess Cruise were very pleasant and helpful.

The weather was perfect and the crew was friendly and helpful. Suggestion: set the buffet up in the middle so people can go up both sides to get their food in a more timely and efficient manner.

Weather is everything and our evening was beautiful for this cruise and the Gulf calm enough to enjoy the sunset. Hors d'oeurves were plentiful and delicious. We had a great time!

The sunset more than hors d'oeuvres cruise was great! The captain and crew were welcoming. Only complaint I have is that the food was not warm. Chicken and meatballs need to be heated and kept warm. Other than that all was good and I recommend this cruise to all.

As a Naples local, I had taken this cruise before and was very impressed with the Princess from the atmosphere to the delicious food. When my four NJ girlfriends came for a visit, I suggested this as a perfect last-night event. They loved it! We were treated to a spectacular sunset, which was truly the icing on the cake.

Beautiful evening on the top of the princess admiring Florida's spectacular canal homes as well as just being on the Gulf! The crew couldn't have been more personable ! Highly recommend trip!

We thouroughly enjoyed the cocktail,sunset cruise. Cons:The food was good, but lacked variety. Unfortunately due to wind we could not go out to the gulf and repeated the same circle around the harbor/Port Royal for two hours. It was lovely, but we were ready to get off after an hour. Next time I will check conditions prior to boarding. However, I will do this again. Everyone had a great time.

Everything was delightful but the food was hardly "more than hors d'oeuvres". For non meat eaters, only cheese and crackers and tiny cream puffs. Suggest some vegetables and fruit to be added to pulled pork and meatballs - what was there was tasty but I don't eat meat....

Need more introduction as to how everything is organized...especially food and where to sit to see and hear. Could not hear from our seats at front of boat.

We expected to see homes decorated with Christmas lights, we saw hardly any, and those were around the pier at the start of the cruise. It was too dark to see the homes themselves. Overall the two hour cruise was overpriced for what we got. While the ham was good, it's a lot of money for chicken wings, meatballs, ham and a few pieces of cheese. The drinks were very expensive, and the bill had to be carefully looked at since it was not itemized and in the end was wrong. Overall none of our group would recommend this activity.
