Sunset More Than Hors D'oeuvres Cruises

This was a birthday celebration for my husband, who doesn't like attention on him. The cruise was on an absolutely beautiful day and the cruise left on time. The service was excellent and food was great. We spent our entire trip on the top deck and the views were majestic. When we went through Gordon's Pass everyone on the ship came to watch the sunset together. After the sunset everyone on deck sang Happy Birthday to him...what more can you ask for. The memories are priceless. When disembarking the Captain bid us farewell...how elegant. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

We went on a rainy night, but clouds soon broke up and had a beautiful sunset. Enjoyed watching the dophins, stingrays, and birds.The ship was beautiful and rode smoothly. It was difficult to hear captain describing the area. The food was good, however it was all meat choices, besides the bread with a dip. It would have been nice to have a vegetable tray. Really liked being able to make reservations online.

WE ENJOYED THE BOAT TRIP EVEN THOUGH THE WEATHER WAS NOT THE BEST. I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO HAVE HAD A NICER DESSERT OFFERED.

We were very pleased with the boat overall. The Hors D'oeuvres served exceeded our expectation - good quality and plentiful. Bartenders were all very nice!

We had a great time. The food was delicious and views were spectacular.

We decided to take this cruise on a recommendation of a friend. It was a very enjoyable, relaxing time. The tour was nice but the captain's narration was hard to hear. I don't know if it was because we were on the very top outside deck or if he was just very soft spoken. Unfortunately the weather prevented us seeing th sunset but we said we would try another time. I highly recommend this tour. The hors d'oeuvres were tasty and the drinks were reasonably priced. Check the local papers for a discount coupon. we saw it after we booked but the company gave us a drink coupon upon boarding to make up for not seeing the coupon before booking. I thought that was very nice of them to do that.

This was a birthday gift for someone in our group. We were expecting a nice boat ride with harbor and coastline views. The boat ride was boring, stayed in the harbor and rode back and forth along an inlet looking at waterfront houses. We did stop for the sunset at the opening to the ocean which was nice but we could not venture out more as the water was choppy. We found out later that it is a flat bottom boat and they cannot got out for better views unless it is very calm. The food was basic heat it up type appetizers with some pulled pork for sandwich making added. The PA system was not good, could not understand anything said. The music was predominantly for the younger set when the people were predominantly older (our group was a mix of older and younger). This boat goes out rain or shine. If you are not at least going to get a good sunset do not take this ride, it would be a waste of time. Also, some people got a two-for-one special. Only if there is a good sunset and you get the two-for-one special would this be of any worth to do. That is my opinion.

We were disappointed to find that major portions of the boat were closed due to private parties. This included the entire second deck and rear of the boat. had we known this - we would likely have changed our plans.

We enjoyed ourselves very much on this cruise. We had the hors d'oeurves which were good and enough for a meal (although some vegetables would have been welcome - crudites or something!) Three drawbacks: first, not getting out into the gulf much, since the boat slip is so far inland; second, having the onboard lights on once the sun is down; it'd be nice to be able to see outside the windows better on the trip back; and third, the fact that smoking is allowed. It rather ruins things for those of us who would have enjoyed sitting outside. Instead, we were stuck inside in A/C with the lights on to avoid the smoke. But, overall, it was quite enjoyable, even with the squealing children nearby. The staff was wonderfully pleasant and kind. And, although we couldn't care less about the big waterfront properties we passed, the person on the intercom describing the sights was entertaining. We would do this again.

Beautiful sunset. Food was ok. Out on the gulf for a short while, tour was largely of the expansive million dollar homes. I recommend heading up top. Nice breeze.
