50 Minute Gondola Tour

My husband and I were celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary with our daughter. We decided on this gondola ride because it was something we always wanted to do. It was comfortable and romantic and we enjoyed the entire experience. We'd like to thank our gondolier for the lovely evening. Liam is great. ( I hope I got his name right.) Thank you so much.

We were newlyweds going on the gondola tour and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The tour guide was fabulous - very knowledgeable about the art of gondola boat tours and serenaded us. We decided to do a night tour and would definitely recommend it - very romantic! It was a little breezy but we have a blanket (I wore a dress) and the wine warmed us up. It was also nice because City Park had the Christmas Lights out so it was festive. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to do something different in N.O.

We went at night to see the Celebration in the Oaks Christmas lights and it was wonderful. Very peaceful and the lights were beautiful. It wasn't cold so we did bring wine. This was our second time on NOLA gondola and we loved it both times.

I took my girlfriend on the Gondola ride for her birthday. Robert (the owner) called me before hand to confirm my arrival and ask if I had directions to the dock. We went during the sunset, which made for beautiful lighting of the park. Additionally, the Christmas lights in the park were up, which added to the experience. We really enjoyed traveling through the sculpture garden. Robert was a wonderful host and kept us entertained during our gondola ride. I highly recommend this as a fun date!

What a wonderful way to spend my 50th birthday with the hubby! Our gondolier made the ride really special as it was my 50th birthday. Really enjoyed this and will treasure the memory forever.

Was a wonderful surprise for my girlfriend, she would love to go on it again.

The gondola ride through City Park was romantic, comfortable, soothing, and absolutely beautiful. Robert provides one of the treasures of romantic New Orleans, an experience I highly recommend to any couple looking for a unique date!

We walk in the park at least three times a week, and our gondola ride gave us an entirely new perspective...Our infant son (properly lifejacketed!) watched in wonder as we glided so smoothly by his usual haunts. Robert is a great pilot and sensitive host. Prepare for all the smiles of the passersby. Very highly recommended!

My Husband and I were celebrating our 1 Year Wedding Anniversary. We had gone to Italy for our honeymoon but weren't able to take part in the Gondola ride in Venice due to the cold weather and the water freezing. We decided to take part of the Gondola ride in NOLA to celebrate our anniversary. I'm so happy we did. We had a little piece of Italy right here in NOLA. It was absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and serene. In addition, it was like being in NOLA yet not in NOLA all at the same time...as the scene from a boat's view provides a completely different perspective of the beauty that lies within City Park. It was a 50 minute escape away from the hustle and bustle of the world into calmness and serenity. In addition, Eddie Russo added that extra touch of class playing the mandolin. His music provided the perfect backdrop to our already beautiful scene. My husband and I are huge fans of Italian music...we find the music to be so stimulating and lovely. And, Mr. Russo played such great songs that we were all too familiar with providing us with nostalgic memories. He even took requests if we wanted him to play something in particular. Finally, the captain of the boat, Robert Dula, was so hospitable and thoughtful. He even took our photos all while steering the Bella Mae, as his Gondola is called. And, I must say Robert captured some beautiful shots. I would highly recommend this activity to any couple celebrating any occasion...be it a birthday, a wedding, an anniversary, a proposal, etc... It is truly a treat to treasure. We look forward to doing it again in the future.
