Nola Gondola

You are right in the city but wouldn't know it. The park houses the museum of modern art and there are sculptures all along the banks of the canal. Many little bridges to go under (traditionally kissing) and lots of greenery, etc. We brought a bottle of wine and he provided glasses which we purchased. The Gondola is an original from Italy and the guide is great. Music playing in the background and he only speaks if you want. We went at 7pm and then went out for supper afterwards. It is perfect for honeymooners or a couple on a date.

It was so relaxing and we saw so much of the City Park that we would have never seen. Thanks!!

Our gondola ride was a very worthwhile experience and I did not mind spending the cash for it. Granted, the lake is not the most beautiful but the atmosphere created was wonderful, the surrounding sites and bridges on the lake will keep you busy as well as gazing into your loved ones eyes! The tireless energy and comfortable settings provided made it enjoyable. I recommend going before sunset, the lake might get a little bit "buggy" any time past.

It was a pretty hot day when we went, but Robert was nice enough to provide us with an umbrella to shade from the sun. Overall it was a very relaxing ride, some good scenary. I would recommend for a romantic setting, probably even better late in the afternoon near sunset.

This is such a beautiful way to spend 50 mins with your favorite person. We could not have enjoyed the gondola ride more. Definitely bring champagne!

Celebrated our 25th anniversary with a beautiful romantic gondola ride. So glad we did this. Most definitely made the day special.

We had a great time on our Gondola ride. Would definately reccomend this for any couple looking for something fun and romantic to do. It was also a great way for us to see City Park. This was one of my favorite parts of our vacation in New Orleans and I'm definately glad we booked this! Thanks Robert!

This was a really great experience...one of the most unique things you can do in New Orleans, and that is saying a lot. Anniversary, proposal, date night, birthday...this could be the perfect choice!

THIS GONDOLA RIDE WAS AWESOME, ROBERT, TOOK US ON A TOUR THROUGH CITY PARK AND WE WERE ABLE TO SEE SCULPTURES FROM THE NEW ORLEANS MUSEUM OF ART, IT WAS MAGNIFICENT! THE WEATHER WAS BEAUTIFUL, THE SUN WAS SETTING, IT WAS A VERY SPECIAL MOMENT, ONE THAT MY HUSBAND AND I WILL REMEMBER ALWAYS.

Awesome value for the money

All around great time. I took my girlfriend on this as a 1 year anniversary date, and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. We brought wine and the guide brought ice and glasses for us. The weather cooperated with us nicely.

My girlfriend and I took the 50-minute gondola ride through City Park and had a wonderful time. The gondola is stunning with handcrafted detail and, just as importantly, is quite comfortable. The ride was relaxing and beautiful, especially while traveling through the NOMA Sculpture Garden and seeing the nesting swans on one of the small islands. And, of course, the gondolier is very friendly and professional. We're already looking forward to taking another ride (this time closer to sundown) sometime in the fall!

Very romantic, absolutely beautiful park.. Doesn't get any more romantic than this. Roberto goes the extra mile to make sure his tour is top notch. His gondola is the real deal, made in Venice, very nice and comfy. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed the trip. I chose the gondola ride as my spot to propose to my girlfriend. Roberto was so helpful and willing to do all he could to make it the best possible. Thanks again Roberto!

I'm a huge romantic!! And this was a perfect romantic way to celebrate our 7yr anniversary. Can't wait to do it again!!
