Nola Gondola

The gondola ride was part of a surprise weekend as my Christmas gift to my wife. The experience was OUTSTANDING! The boat is an authentic gondola in beautiful condition. The gondolier, Roberto, and the mandolin player, Eddie, were entertaining, informative, and very professional. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening. My bride (of 44 years) thought it was an unimaginable experience -- one of the best gifts ever! I highly recommend the ride and the mandolin. We followed it with dinner at Stella.

I would recommend this to anyone looking to have a romantic end to a date night or just something nice to do in the park.

Drifting along at night, gliding across the water. What could be better? Seeing parts of City Park that we have never seen, my wife and I celebrated 41 years of marriage. She asked, "Who would have thought we would be doing this 41 years ago tonight?" It was so quiet, so smooth and the park was beautiful. This is something we will always remember. Recommended for all.

My wife and I spent our 10th anniversary in New Orleans last weekend. After an awesome dinner, we took an incredibly romantic gondola ride at sunset. Robert was an exceptional guide, very personable, and humorous. The crackers, cheese, ice bucket, and champagne flutes were a wonderful bonus! We will definitely do this again. If you are visiting New Orleans for any romantic outing...this IS A MUST!

I took my girlfriend on the Gondola ride for her birthday. Robert (the owner) called me before hand to confirm my arrival and ask if I had directions to the dock. We went during the sunset, which made for beautiful lighting of the park. Additionally, the Christmas lights in the park were up, which added to the experience. We really enjoyed traveling through the sculpture garden. Robert was a wonderful host and kept us entertained during our gondola ride. I highly recommend this as a fun date!

Robert and Nola Gondola provided us with the most amazing, unique experience in New Orleans! He is such an amazing guide with a great presence and incredible stories, expertly guiding us about the lake and guiding us to get in kisses at every bridge! The scenery of City Park is so beautiful in the setting sun and evening light and navigating it on the water in a beautiful gondola was truly magical. The sculpture garden is exquisite, the music very romantic and the whole event is not to be missed! Grazie Mille!

Wow - just perfect! This was a surprise for my friend and he was bowled over by the whole experience. I chose a sunset ride which was the icing on the cake ;-) Being able to kick back with the bottle of wine we brought was the perfect end to our New Orleans visit! The stories behind our gondola, the traditions / practice, our gondolier, the sculptures, the birds, etc. were very cool. The ride, our wine and the music were over-the-top relaxing but the scenery was what was unexpected. We saw A LOT of City Park and the Sculpture Garden, which was a surprise but I really didn't expect to see hatchlings less than 24-hours old and mother swans nesting. Just an amazing experience I highly recommend.

Me and my girlfriends had planned a trip to New Orleans, we were looking for things to do and came across the gondola ride. I wanted to suprise my girlfriend and propose to her on our trip and i thought this would be an amazing way to do it. The ride was magnificent, we were able to bring wine, I brought my girlfriends favorite (Moscato) as we went along the ride. Cheese and crackers were provided for us. We had the last ride of the day and although at first I thought it may have been a bit late for that trip, it was still the most amazing experience in my life. we had the bayou all to ourselves, and with the wine and the music, it was the perfect setting for me to propose. i highly reccomend this trip if you are thinking of participating, you will not regret it.

This was the best part of our visit in New Orleans. After awhile, all tourist places look about the same. This ride around City Park was fantistic!! It was relaxing and beautiful and informative as well as romantic. Whatever you do in New Orleans, make this a must see.

I thoroughly enjoyed this gondola ride and highly recommend it to people of all personalities. The gondolier Robert was very pleasant and friendly and provides utmost care for his customers. Our appointment was scheduled for 6 in the evening because it being New Orleans, we figured it'd still be quite warm had we gone any earlier. The weather could not have been more perfect though! It was right about sunset and around 70 degrees of bliss! Even it being a more "romantic" type setting, the whole experience was perfect with just friends. We made the most of it. With that said, well worth the cost!

Robert is wonderful--knowledgable, friendly and a great host on his beautiful gondola. Highly recommended for a lovely couples date.

We had a great time on our Gondola ride. It was perfect timing as the sun was beginning to set as the ride was ending. It was so relaxing and just what we needed on our trip. I recommend it to anyone traveling to or living in the area.

My boyfriend and I had a great gondola tour of City Park at Sunset. Because we went in December, we also got to see some of the lights for Christmas in the Oaks. It was so pretty and relaxing!
