Charleston Carriage Ride & Sightseeing Tour

I thought our guide was very informative and knowledgeable of the area. He was patient and willing to answer questions with honest information. It was a very enjoyable experiance.

My wife and I were very surprised when we were trying to find the carriage company. There were two or three on the same street that all but harassed you to consider their carriage rides. Olde Towne is at the end so had we not pre bought the tickets we might have considered another company but glad we didn't. When we got there they immediately put us on the carriage and off we went. The driver was very knowledgeable of the area and the hour long trip ended in what seemed like minutes. We will definitely use this company in the future.

Carriage ride of downtown Charlestown was awesome. The carriage ride allowed us to see part of the town and learn some of the history that we would have otherwise not known.

My husband and I tthoroughly enjoyed the tour. It was very informative and relaxing I would strongly recommend it. When I get back to charleston I wouldn't mind doing it again.

Great way to see all of the historic sites and get a good feel for downtown Chucktown. Guide was very pleasent, insightful and informational.

Old Towne took great care of us. We arrived early, and they fit us in on an earlier carriage ride instead of making us wait. We were impressed with how well they took care of the horses, especially on a very hot June morning. The carriage ride itself was fun, informative and full of history that's not included on the visitor's brochures. Just a great way to experience the homes, churches and history of Charleston!

very interesting facts learned on the carriage ride. I would recommend going when it's not so hot. We were crowded on the bench seats with 4 people to one row having 12 passengers on the ride with us. We were so hot that sweat was dripping off of us. it would have been much more enjoyable if we could have had a little more of a breeze and less hot weather. The guide was very entertaining and made the ride worth the heat exposure. Beautiful city.
