Olde Towne Carriage Company

The tour guide was very good, was funny and educational. I had two of my teenage granddaughters with me and was afraid they would get bored with all the educational information, but the guide kept them entertained as well as informed. This is my second carriage tour and would go again when I am in Charleston.

Two young children were extremely disruptive and did somewhat negatively impact our experience.

Zerve was quick and easy to use and there wasn't any hassle's when we checked into the Carriage Company for our ride. I recommend Zerve for booking events.

Mary Margaret and "Chief" did a great job. It was surprising that the carriage tours are municipally managed and even the guide doesn't know which route will be assigned until the tour starts. That said, she did a great job and shared lots of interesting info with us. She was really enthusiastic. As a history major she seemed to have found her niche and was loving it. Old Towne seemed to be o e of the smaller companies but I cannot imagine a better one. Our group of five from two families including a 16 year old all thought it was great. Well done!

I'm from SC, and as many times as I've been to Charleston, I'd never been on a carriage ride. So, my 3 children, ages ranging from 9 to 15, and I went on a carriage ride with Olde Towne Carriage Company. What a pleasant experience! Our tour guide, Mary Margaret, was wonderful! She was very knowledgeable about the history of Charleston. As she spoke to us, she was able to guide the horse with the greatest of ease. Mary Margaret was very comfortable in speaking with everyone on the tour and at times was very humorous! I would highly recommend to anyone to take a carriage tour with Olde Towne Carriage Company!!

Guide was knowledgable and his demeanor appropriate i.e. pleasant, not a stand up comedian.

The Olde Towne Carriage Company tour is fantastic, and riding in an horse-drawn open carriage is a perfect way to get a grasp of historic and beautiful Charleston. Our guide was very knowledgeable and personable, capable of illustrating the history and way of life in Charleston through big stories as well as small architectural details. We're so glad we took this tour and highly recommend it!

This was our second tour. We first took a tour in March 2012. We wanted to repeat the experience and we were not disappointed. Both my wife and I strongly recommend this company to everyone we meet. You were very accommodating as we arrived a little late for our reserved tour and you placed us on the next available carriage with just a short wait. Thanks for a great experience .

An amazing attraction in Charleston. Very informative! Great tour guide and front row seats! Best thing I did during the whole trip!

It was a beautifully warm day and we really enjoyed the horse and buggy ride. The young man that guided our tour was very nice, but I didn't feel like we got as much history as I had hoped. Seemed more like a tour of homes instead of much historical value. Wanted to hear and see more of the historical points of Charleston, but he hit the hight spots of that and talked more about how much the homes cost today and movie stars. But the ride was very nice and the horse was beautiful. I would recommend to friends but would still like more history of the Revolutionary war and Civil war which was a big part of Charleston. Maybe a different path would have been better. I understand they have several but we didn't get to choose, we just went on the ride they sent us on.

We really enjoyed our carriage ride with Tyler & Dan. We learned a lot about the area & got to see many beautiful homes. Our guide was very knowledgeable & made the tour fun. I would recommend this carriage ride - we were very pleased.

The tour started on time. The staff was professional and very friendly. The guide was knowledgeable, provided interesting facts about the historic area.
