Olde Towne Carriage Company

We initially were supposed to go on the 3pm carriage ride but due to the extreme heat, the city shut the rides down. We were offered to take a later ghost tour by carrige ride which started at 730pm. It was very interesting to still learn the history of Charleston since we are both oringinally from North Carolina. We both had a great time spent downtown with all the amenities. We hope to experince this again in the near future.

Guide was knowledgable and his demeanor appropriate i.e. pleasant, not a stand up comedian.

Interesting, informative and enjoyable

We appreciated being able to order our tickets online. We ordered the night before and were treated to front row seats in the carriage. (Lesson: order early.) The check in process was simple, the ride was comfortable, the driver was knowledgable and loved his city.

This was our second tour. We first took a tour in March 2012. We wanted to repeat the experience and we were not disappointed. Both my wife and I strongly recommend this company to everyone we meet. You were very accommodating as we arrived a little late for our reserved tour and you placed us on the next available carriage with just a short wait. Thanks for a great experience .

I wish I could remember the name of our driver. He was excellent--nice blend of information and humor. I have been on Charleston tours in the past, but I still learned new things. Our tour of the downtown area was very enjoyable. We were a little early and were able to see the care and attention the employees give the horses. My husband and I highly recommend this carriage tour company.

In Charleston you have a choice of several carriage ride companies. We chose Olde Towne Carriage, and we are glad we did. Nick and "Big John" gave an excellent tour with lots of historical information.

Being in Charleston several times before, mostly walking, the company provided a relaxing informative ride through the city. I recommend this tour for anyone here for a visit , especially if it is their first time.

This was our 2nd time and thought our daugter would injoy it and she did. We will go on our tour any time again.

We loved this carriage tour. Our guide was a very funny and also informative person. We loved hearing all about Charleston and the history of the different places we saw during the tour. Our guide kept the interest of my children and we really all loved the experience and would take this tour again when we come back to Charleston.
