we are from florida and we came to charleston to see our son who is stationed there in the navy, while here we visited downtown charleston. the carriage ride i highly recommend to everyone, this was the highlight of our visit and our son!!! amazing

This was our first trip to Charleston, and it was a perfect thing to do! We did it at the beginning of our trip, and learned so much. Our guide was awesome! It also helped us get a feel for the city and gave us ideas for places that we wanted to go back to on our own. I would recommend this tour company to anyone with any interest in learning more about Charleston on their visit !

We had a group of 8, two adults, four children, and two seniors and the tour was suitable for all of us. It was very informative, there were frequent pauses for still pictures, entertaining enough for children under 12, and a comfortable ride. Simply put our money was well spent!!

My boyfriend and I went on this carriage ride and it was absolutely amazing! I'm not a big history person so I wasn't sure how into it I would be but our guide was awesome and made everything interesting. We got one of the best zones and our tour went down by the water, past rainbow row, and all the other old historic parts of downtown. We could not have had a more perfect experience. Definitely recommend this one, even for a younger crowd!

Our carraige was pulled by Bill, a retired draft horse from Pennsylvania, our tour guide was very knowegable about the area we were allowed to tour. We saw the old jail that was on one of the Ghost Adventurers edpisodes. Both of our college age children said they enjoyed the tour as well as my wife. Our tour included both residential and commercial parts of town. The tour was as advertised.

We have lived in Charleston all our lives but had never been on a carriage ride! Our whole family enjoyed-we got to learn a lot about a place we often overlook...our guide was very friendly and informative. Although where you will tour is luck of the draw, we rode through a part of town we didn't know much about. Everyone should take a carriage ride!

My family and I ( total of 8 of us ) decided to take a Christmas Eve carriage tour of Charleston and had the best time. Our tour guide was Andrew and Dan was our horse. Andrew was funny, informative, and enthusiastic about giving the tour which was so wonderful. This was such a great way to see some of the main areas of Charleston ( I believe we had route # 1 - which consisted of The Battery, Rainbow Row, Tradd St, ...) , especially for some of our family members who have trouble walking and are only here for a limited time where we could not possibly see everything. We highly recommend the tour and OldeTowne Carriage Co !!

Great carriage ride! It was very enjoyable and informative.Our guide absolutely knew his facts and was able to answer every question asked of him. My 10 year old was awe struck. The carriage ride was "The Best"!

Olde Towne Carriage Company is really easy to find in the market area of Charleston. Our horse was called Dan and our guide was Steve. He expained that due to the number of carriages on the road the tour route is decided by the picking of a coloured ball which indicates the route you will take, so you could do the tour twice and not neccesarily see the same sites. The tour lasted an hour and is very good value for money, Steve gave us lots of interesting information and welcomed questions. We toured the historic home area and saw the many styles of homes and the architecture/historic preservation involved. We also saw King Street and several churches.

The best -- Bart (the horse) and Chris (the driver) were fantastic. We had the best route (#1) and Chris provided a great narrative of historical facts!
