Having lived in Charleston for eight years, I was pleased to learn things on this tour that I did not already know.

Very informational and fun. A little on the expensive side.

Being in Charleston several times before, mostly walking, the company provided a relaxing informative ride through the city. I recommend this tour for anyone here for a visit , especially if it is their first time.

In Charleston you have a choice of several carriage ride companies. We chose Olde Towne Carriage, and we are glad we did. Nick and "Big John" gave an excellent tour with lots of historical information.

Our tour was on Saturday, May 10th at 3pm. I can't remember the name of our guide but he was a dental student and a past graduate of the Citadel. He gave just the right amount of history/information! I like that he didn't just bore you with dates and facts but would add in anecdotes and stories about Charleston and its history. We will definitely take this tour again when we return to Charleston.

Staff was less than enthusiastic and tour route was not what was expected...went north from start, west, south, east back...never any closer to old town than barn (point of origin/departure). Recommend save your money and walk...take the self-guided walking tour...guidebook is $4.95. Our group of 6 were completely disappointed.

This was the first time my nieces had been to Charleston and I am glad I decided to go with Old Towne. Our Carriage ride was fun and very informative. The employees were very professional, knew what they were talking about in describing the houses and the history of Charleston. The horses looked to be very well cared for. I would highly recommend going with Old Towne Carriage Company for your Carriage tour of Charleston.

This tour was on the last day of my stay rather than the first due to the fact that I missed my flight & had to reschedule. Staff was very friendly and helpful and Larry the horse was a very amusing guy. I highly recommend this tour and this company.

Informational, entertaining and fun tour.

This was our second carriage ride with Olde Town Carriage Company. Both of the carriage rides were great. The tour is beautiful and the guides are very knowledgeable. Due to City of Charleston regulation there are 3 possible routes and you don't know which route you will go on until you are already on board the carriage. We ended up getting the same route again and were worried that it would be a repeat of the first ride we had 2 months ago. But we were very pleasantly surprised that the second guide had different stories and information than the first. We will definitely do it again next time we are in town!

The guide was funny, informative and easy going. Very interesting, relaxing and entertaining.

Last March a friend and I took a day trip to Charleston through Zerve which included a carriage ride. This year my family accompanied me for a carriage ride and once again it was a very good thing to do to get an overall history of Charleston and its people. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and Henry was a very good boy as he led us around the historic area of the city.

The guide makes the carriage tour and we once again had a friendly and informative gude. The guides are good rapport builders and asnwer any questions you might have and always have a personal spin on the tour to make it fun.
