Olde Towne Carriage Company

After calling to confirm our reservation (and having them tell us to come an hour earlier), we arrived on time and they said our tour was cancelled. I would not reccomend this company at all.

In Charleston you have a choice of several carriage ride companies. We chose Olde Towne Carriage, and we are glad we did. Nick and "Big John" gave an excellent tour with lots of historical information.

This tour was on the last day of my stay rather than the first due to the fact that I missed my flight & had to reschedule. Staff was very friendly and helpful and Larry the horse was a very amusing guy. I highly recommend this tour and this company.

My daughter was in Charleston for business coming from PA. I live in Aiken and decided to join her for a few days prior to her meetings. I have been to Charleston many times, however, this was my first carriage ride. I must say that Anne did a great job. It was a pleasure and we both learned a lot. Plan to take my next group from PA on a carriage ride in mid-October and will gladly use the same group.

We paid full price plus convenience fees and expected to have a good tour. Ended up with Chris who showed us some residences in Charleston. He was very dull and quite frankly we thought we would see more of Charleston but I think carriages are limited to where they can go. We were disappointed and quickly left the city after the tour. I suggest driving or another method of touring Charleston. Perhaps I would've liked Charleston more if I saw other parts of it.

It was great and AJ was an awesome tour guide. He kept us laughing and interested the whole time. I would recommend the tour and AJ to anyone that asks. Erika

The carriage ride was great. Our guide was very informative and also made the trip very interesting. If we return to Charleston, we will book with the same company.

Handout of Charleston would have been helpful. Even though I have been to visit several times, the ride seems to go so quickly and there is not much time left to ask questions. Our guide was very good as was the horse Bob. Thank you for a very pleasant experience.

I have lived in Charleston for almost 15 years and really have not availed myself of the Chas history. But recently when I had family in to visit from Ohio, we took the carriage ride tour. I thoroughly enjoyed it and so did my family. The tour guide did well beyond what I have previously been shown. She gave more historical info than I had known myself. Well done tour guide!! We had out of town guests in for a visit and we needed additional carriage ride tickets. Using Zerve made purchasing the tickets very easy for the guests.

The guide (Dillion) made this tour very enjoyable for everyone in our party. His knowledge and wit made the tour the highlight of our day trip to Charleston. We are also going to book another tour next week for relatives that are coming for a week long stay.

We would definitely use Olde Towne Carriage Company again. Purchasing tickets ahead of time made all the difference and all the staff members we came in contact with were polite and professional. Our tour guide - Andrew - was extremely knowledgeable and we loved his humor. We will definitely use this tour company again the next time we have friends visiting.

we are from florida and we came to charleston to see our son who is stationed there in the navy, while here we visited downtown charleston. the carriage ride i highly recommend to everyone, this was the highlight of our visit and our son!!! amazing
