We had a great tour of Central Park covering a wide range of film locations. Our guide Madeleine was absolutely excellent. She was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We found out lots of information in a very entertaining couple of hours. The whole family really enjoyed it and we would recommend it highly. It was great value for money.

This walk goes from the Plaza Hotel to Tavern on the Green. We had great weather so the walk was really enjoyable. The tour guide was friendly talked about current movies and gave some info about the park. The only thing I would have preferred would be to hear about more classic movies. But overall I really enjoyed the walk.

I can highly recommend the Central Park Movie and TV sites tour. It was great value for a 2 hour tour of Central Park where movies and TV location sites. The tour guide was very knowledgable, friendly and a local with lots of interesting stories of the park. Most enjoyable especially if you have limited time and dont want to walk around all the park which is huge. Mary

My two college-age daughters and I were very excited about our movie-sights tour of Central Park. I had been to NYC before and loved Central Park and knew my daughters would, too. Also, we love to watch movies and couldn't wait to see the locations of some of our favorite movies. Just being in the beautiful park in the cool shade was so pleasant and a welcome respite from pounding the pavement touring the city. Our tour guide, Sami, was a doll and, as a native New Yorker, gave us great information about the city, the park, and some of the movies that have been made there. The tour was very enjoyable and just what we hoped for.

Loved the tour itself. Was disappointed that we did not go to the Carosel as mentioned in the brochure. The only thing that was not good was the meeting location. We were told to go to the "Manhattan Island". We walked around for 20 minutes trying to find our leader and group. Finally called and found out it was by a subway station, back a block from where the map showed on our reservation. When we got there, we still didn't know what to look for, because 50 people were not there as I was told would be. Called back again and was told to look for woman with an umbrella. Finally found her. Need to be more exact for being able to see where to meet up with, especially with a time frame involved. Loved the tour and she was very good.

Fun Outing in Central Park

New to the area, with family in for a visit, we decided to take the TV and movie tour of Central Park. The day was quite warm and our tour guide Brianne kept us in the shade as much as possible. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. She pointed out the tv & movie sights and also gave us some history of Central Park. A lot of the movies were a bit older and the young adults in our family didn't know them. They probably knew 40-50 percent of the movies and shows that were discussed. I probably wouldn't bring young kids on this tour, but our group enjoyed the day.

There were two of us "movie buffs" taking this tour and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. It was fun actually being where the movies were either made or seeing what inspired the movie sets. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and had the answers to all questions asked, and in some cases even added her own experiences...................loved loved loved it. Would recommend it to anyone who loves movies.

Our tour guide Stephanie was delightful. She was very cheerful, informative and upbeat. I come to NYC every year and it was so nice to go thru the park which I never have done. I was with my daughter-in-law and her friend and we all enjoyed it.

Tour Fell Short

My family and I occasionally visit NYC but have never toured Central Park. In my search for tours, this was really the only tour I could find that would provide some insight to the Park's history; even it is only insight into "movies or television shows" filmed in the park. The park has bike rentals, which was not what I was looking for. This tour was guided by a young aspiring actress. Although she was very energetic, she repeated herself quite a bit about which movies and television shows were filmed in the park. There are a lot of statues in the park but none were talked about. Plus, the tour only covered about 1/3rd of the park. If you are a movie or television buff, you will enjoy this tour. If you want more insight or history of the park, this is not the tour to take.
