Central Park TV & Movie Sites

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the Central Park Movie Location Tour which we recently undertook. Whether you are in to the movies that were mentioned, we weren't, or just want to enjoy the beautiful scenery and wonderful New York skyline back-drop as we did, there is something for everyone in this great tour. I'd recommend it to anyone.

We were lucky in that our group was really small so there was a great deal of back and forth discussion between all of us. The group leader, Kimberly, was bright and funny. She was knowledgeable about both Central Park and the movie locations. We saw parts of the park we would never have gotten to on our own. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend this one, for anyone who is interested in Central Park at all (not just movies). The tour guide took us through the most interesting and scenic parts of Central Park and gave us a lot of history about the park itself, in between showing different movie settings. The entire tour was great, especially for first-timers like us. We also went in fall, when Central Park is in all its glory, and that added a lot to our enjoyment. The changing leaves were gorgeous, and the park was not crowded at all.

We found the tour very good as, not only did we get the opportunity to see areas where various films were filmed, we also got to see and hear about other areas of Central Park which we would not have seen if we had aimlessly wandered around Central Park.

Our guide was excellent, and the locations shown in Central Park were truly stunning. A must if this is your first trip to NY!

I did not take the tour, but organized it for my group - the reactions I heard were positive - nice intro to NYC and Central Park but again and again, I heard that there was too much time taken up for stopping to take pictures. I don'[t know what to compare it to - but guess the rating would be above average - almost to good. I was impressed with the organization - way we were able to contact as we were running late (we made it on time), etc.

I had been to NYC in July and went to Central Park on my own but after going with this tour it seemed like I had never been there. I really enjoyed the history and knowing where all the movies were filmed and where the stars live. My son loved it and the friend I went with thanked me for booking this tour because she enjoyed it so much.

We really liked the tour. Weather cooperated too. I have arthritis and would be good to know that there are a few stairs to climb and a few inclines to go up. We took our time and I guess it depends on the age of each group. Seemed like our group had average age of about 45-50 so we went a little slower. I would have liked to have seen the boat house a little closer but not bad.................had fun and would recommend it for sure. Actually I already have.

This was my 2nd On Location Tour, and it was quite fun! However, there were not as many references to movies shot in the park as I had expected. Despite this, there were many beautiful locations along the way and I would recommend it to anyone who is not already familiar with the park.
