My college age daughter and I highly recommend the Walking Tour in Central Park. We had a fabulous tour guide who was personable and highly knowledgeable about the movie and TV filming locations throughout the park. She graciously and patiently took photos of any and all of the group members. We walked 2.5 miles, a great way to exercise and burn off the calories of the great NYC food while visiting this beautiful park. A great experience. Highly recommend it.

We were blessed with a beautiful day. Our guide was very informative and set a reasonable pace for all to follow. We learned much about the park's history and visited most of the "must see" sights while visiting the movie sights as well. The tour was planned to have 33 guests. My first impression was that was a bit too many. There were to be ten in our personal group but because of some poorly worded directions, two of our party could not find the meeting place. I'm not sure of actually how many we ended up with but it wasn't as unmanageable as I thought it would be. The meeting place is on the North side of 59th St. My only suggestion for the tour operators would be to clarify the meeting place and procedures....For out-of-towners, 59th St. and Central Park South are one in the same. We did not know this at the time. This confused at least two of our group enough to miss the tour and I actually had to get help from a cop. When we finally did find the meeting place, I expected someone to be holding "up" a blue flag or something but after five or so minutes of looking around and wondering if we were in the right place, we found our guide standing silently right in front of us holding a small blue cloth at chest level. I don't know how long she had been standing there! Keep in mind, there were hordes of people walking back and forth along the street and it was not easy to home-in on our guide. All in all, we had a great tour of the park and no one in our group had any real complaints.

We had a very enjoyable time. There were others in the group, however, who found the walking to be too much.

My mother and I were in town for a wedding and had one free day to be tourists. The Central Park Movie Sites tour looked interesting and would give us a nice walk through central park. We were there on Friday May 9, rained the entire day and was VERY windy. Out of 24 people, we were the only ones to show up for the tour. They offered to put us on another tour (the next day) but due to our time constraints it was push on or get nothing for what we paid for our tickets. The tour guide was a sport and we got through about half the tour in less than half an hour. Central Park is beautiful and we had it all to ourselves that day...we were the only ones fool enough to be out in that weather. While it was nice having the park to ourselves, eventually the rain leaked through my dilapidated umbrella that the wind had bent and destroyed and I felt awful for subjecting my mother through the torturous walking tour 'rain or shine' so we called it off. The tour guide was nice enough to show us how to use the subway and make sure we made it to Macy's. I can say that had we been offered a refund...none of us would have been walking through central park in that cold, windy, rainy weather. My apologies to the tour guide...I feel like I tortured her as well..I do hope she didn't get sick.

Saw and learned loads. Tour guide friendly and informative. Might be worth highlighting it is a walking tour in bold as some parties who turned up thought they would be going on a bus! This held everyone else up whilst they decided whether they wanted to participate or not.

We both enjoyed this tour of Central Park. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and full of energy, which was contagious. The weather was beautiful - a perfect day in the Park. This was our first day in New York City and turned out to be a great start to our trip! Thank you!
