Having lived in NYC in the 1970's, Central Park was NOT the place to be back then!! It was wonderful to see it now and be able to enjoy this most valuable NY attraction!! Our guide was well informed and fun. A great way to enjoy an afternoon!!

The guide was very knowledgeable and it was very interesting seeing what movies and TV shows were filmed in the park. It is a 2 hour walking tour, so be sure you have comfortable shoes on.

I saw parts of Central Park I would never have found on my own. Our tour guide, Jessica, was wonderful. She was informative and entertaining. It hardly seemed that we walked 2 + miles. It was a gorgeous day which added to the enjoyment of the walk.

Our group decided to take the Central Park Movie Sites tour before we left home. It was very easy to get tickets. One of our group was not sure she would be with us, and she got her ticket after arriving in New York City. Again, very easy! Our tour guide was very good. She talked loud enough for all of us to hear and was very familiar with the park and the movies and T.V. shows filmed there. This was a great way to see a lot of Central Park. After coming to the city for many years, this is the most I have seen of the park. We even got to ride on the Carrousel!

My husband and I found the guide excellent and able to provide information that was interesting and informative. Was well mannered and communicative to all on the tour. Lively pace but easy to manage.

This is the only tour we did not enjoy. We felt like we were running a marathon. I am sure our guide must have had a hot date waiting. Didn't have time to take pictures because she was in very much of a hurry (she told us she had some place to be in 2 hours and she wasn't a minute over the 2 hours) and most of us had a hard time keeping up with her. By the time the whole group was together, she was off again and the ones that didn't keep up with her missed out on her talking because she would not wait for everyone. I would not recommend this tour to anyone who hasn't had cross country marathon training. This tour should be advertised as not recommended for anyone over 40. Then, in all fairness, maybe we just didn't have a very good tour guide.

My husband and I enjoyed the tour, but I in particular wished that more of the sites where older movies have been filmed had been pointed out. In particular, I was looking forward to seeing the parts of Central Park that were used in Woody Allen movies. I asked but was told that the particular portion of the park we were visiting didn't really have many of the sites Woody Allen used. There were a lot of recent movies mentioned, in particular Ella Enchanted, and since it seemed as if there were a lot of baby boomers in the group, covering more of the old movies would have been a good idea. Thank you though - we had a great time.

My college age daughter and I highly recommend the Walking Tour in Central Park. We had a fabulous tour guide who was personable and highly knowledgeable about the movie and TV filming locations throughout the park. She graciously and patiently took photos of any and all of the group members. We walked 2.5 miles, a great way to exercise and burn off the calories of the great NYC food while visiting this beautiful park. A great experience. Highly recommend it.

We were blessed with a beautiful day. Our guide was very informative and set a reasonable pace for all to follow. We learned much about the park's history and visited most of the "must see" sights while visiting the movie sights as well. The tour was planned to have 33 guests. My first impression was that was a bit too many. There were to be ten in our personal group but because of some poorly worded directions, two of our party could not find the meeting place. I'm not sure of actually how many we ended up with but it wasn't as unmanageable as I thought it would be. The meeting place is on the North side of 59th St. My only suggestion for the tour operators would be to clarify the meeting place and procedures....For out-of-towners, 59th St. and Central Park South are one in the same. We did not know this at the time. This confused at least two of our group enough to miss the tour and I actually had to get help from a cop. When we finally did find the meeting place, I expected someone to be holding "up" a blue flag or something but after five or so minutes of looking around and wondering if we were in the right place, we found our guide standing silently right in front of us holding a small blue cloth at chest level. I don't know how long she had been standing there! Keep in mind, there were hordes of people walking back and forth along the street and it was not easy to home-in on our guide. All in all, we had a great tour of the park and no one in our group had any real complaints.

Jessica was a super tour guide. It was even better than I expected. My whole group enjoyed the tour. We recommended it for next time to everyone on our bus tour.
