I have to say, it was a pretty good tour, overall. I saw a LOT of things and learned a lot of things about shows I like that I probably wouldn't know otherwise. The NBC part of the tour was the best part, though. The tour guides were HILARIOUS! I think their names were Jaclyn and Steph... they were really really great. And seeing the studios of Conan O'Brien and Saturday Night Live was awesome. The 3 hour bus tour was good too. The tour guide Gary was pretty amusing, he seemed to know tons about everything, and he was nice and accomodating to everybody on the tour, and there were a lot of us. But I think it was just a little long, especially for someone like me that wanted to see as much of NYC as possible in my 5 day stay...on the other hand I did see quite a bit of the city from the bus window. I know there was a lot to see but I think some of the stops could have been left out. Overall, like I said, I saw a lot and it was pretty good. If you've got a lot of time, it's worth going.
Rating: 4 I would recommend this tour to my friends.

The interactive tour was very informative and entertaining at the same time. Although there were some problem of overbooking, the tourguide (Gary) handled the situation satisfactorily to the affected customers.

We collectively enjoyed the NBC Studio Tour. The interns (pages?) were fun and informative; the studios we visited were surprising (size and scale); the opportunity for the mock newscast was great. The movie set tour was a great way to see some of NYC's neighborhoods. Our guide was gracious and fun. The locations were appropriate. We'd do it again. A recommendation for future tours would be to have a list of film clips and locations as a handout so individuals can view films as they choose later. Trying to see the neighborhoods AND specific film locations AND listening to the guide AND trying to see the film clip is a bit much.
Rating: 5 So much fun!

My friend and I went on the tour on our first morning in New York after arriving on a red eye. It was the best way to start our trip! The tour guide was so knowledgeable and pointed out so many things, while giving us the history of the various neighborhoods. The tour allowed us to see all of the parts of Manhattan and helped us become oriented with the City. The sights on the tour were so fun and the stops were great! I would recommend this to anyone whether you are a first time visitor to New York or have lived there for 40 years. Great, Great tour!

The NY TV Movie Studio tour was truly outstanding from the manner that the company made a special pickup on the street because we were late to start the tour to the amazing knowledge and animated skill on the part of Roseanne, our leader. What a jewel of a find. What terrific customer service. We could never have learnt so much without your tour leader. We could not get enough of the commentary and knowledge that she provided. I hope your company continues to prosper. NBC studios tour was interesting but not very deep. It seemed we spent more than 30% of the time going thru security rather than the tour itself. I guess they are the only studio in town.
Rating: 4 Awesome tour of the city

We enjoyed the tour, movie facts and trivia. The host was lively and entertaining. I felt that the pace was appropriate. I would suggest including a sack lunch in the future. I also would like it if the host would announce the area of the city that the bus has stopped in. I was always looking at my map to try to determine where we were. An announcement would have been nice. The bathroom on the bus should be tidy. It was disgusting! Perhaps a friendly reminder to all guests to clean up after themselves in the bathroom and for all the guys please improve your aim! Eek! Overall, without any improvements, I would do it again, pack my own lunch, and avoid the bathroom at all costs!
Rating: 5 I LOVED this tour

I think by far, this was the tour I was most excited about doing when we came to New York. My friend and I came on a bus trip where we only had 27 hours in New York City. Not only did the tour take us all around New York and give us a crash course in the geography of the area, but it was also so much fun. Our tour guide was hilarious and very funny (Jeff I believe his name was, but I can't remember). The tour was entertaining and amazing when we saw all of the different sites and buildings used for exterior/establishing shots...and a little bit about the history. I have always loved movies and it was great that the tour guide obviously shared a passion for films which kept the information current and lively. He was fantastic (give him a raise so that he'll still be there when we take the tour again the next time I'm in New York) The bus driver was a little bit of a grump, and was probably the worst part of the tour. But otherwise the tour was a very entertaining time. Rice to Riches was awesome, and I loved the Ghostbuster fire hall. I know it is an active firehall and things couldn't very well have stopped infront of the place practically speaking, but it would have been nice to have gotten off the bus and had pictures taken with the firemen and the Ghostbuster sign in the background. I would definately take this tour again!

We purchased our tickets online, printed them out at home, and everything related to the combo tour worked smoothly when we got to NYC. Our New York TV/Movie Sites Tour was hosted by Roseanne, who was enthusiastic and fun, and very knowledgeable about many TV shows and movies, not just those relating to the sites we visited. We were lucky enough to spot a celebrity on the street, as well as to see a couple of locations where signs were posted and cones marked off sections of the street, meaning filming was taking place. Roseanne seemed as excited as we were to witness these things. The three and a half hours flew by - we were either on the bus listening to Roseanne or viewing TV and movie clips on the monitors provided, or off the bus for an up-close look at something. We were given so much information, that it seemed we would never remember it all. Thoughtfully, at the end of the tour, we were all given a booklet with a list of locations we had seen. To anyone intending on taking the tour - practice your TV theme songs, and be prepared to sing them. You may win a prize! Honestly, the only improvement we would make on this tour would be to get a bus with a slightly larger restroom, in which everything works as it should. Hand-sanitizer would be a plus to have on board. The NBC Studio Tour was also enjoyable, but not as high-energy as the bus tour. Security was tight, and the atmosphere was much more serious. We were fortunate to be able to tour the Late Night with Conan O'Brien and Saturday Night Live studios, which would have been our first choices, had we been allowed to choose. It was our understanding that the studios on the tour change, depending on what may or may not be going on in them. The tour seemed a bit short, and it would have been nice to see a third studio, or something actually taping. The combo tour was reasonably priced for all that was included. We were very happy we took both tours!
