We enjoyed both parts of the tour. The bus ride was nice and informative. My daughter especially liked seeing the Cosby house and the Friends apartment building. The film clips during the tour helped you to see the featured places. The pizza stop at Bens' Pizza place in Soho was great. We didn't think we would be able to eat lunch and this was a pleasant surprise. The NBC studios tour was great too. We saw the Conan set, the NBC Nightly news set and The Saturday Night Live set. We were a little disappointed that the shows were not taping during our visit. One downfall of visiting between Christmas and New Years.

The bus portion will take you to alot of highlights and let's you see the movie side of New York. The studio part is a great and must do activity to round off the tour and give you insight into the behind the scenes.

Didn't really care for this tour, the bus was packed and it really didn't have much of a personal spin to it. It seemed very scripted and at times lost my interest. Went on the NBC tour afterwards and the staff there seemed overworked and rude. I witnessed a staff member arguing with a lady from another tour group in front of our tour group. This should have been handled off to the side so not everyone could hear one persons business. This whole tour was like a meat market of the more people they can shove in the better. I would not recommend this tour.

The NY TV/Movie tour was great. Even though it was 3 1/2 hours long the time went by really fast, which is always a sign of good entertainment. The bus was comfortable and there were an adequate number of opportunities to get off the bus to view some of the major attractions. I've been to NYC a dozen times, but only after the tv/movie tour did I truly feel like I understood the rich tv/movie history of the city. I'd like to do something similar for other parts of the city - Harlem, Brooklyn, etc... Our tour guide (Gary) was very entertaining, knowledgeable and humorous. I'd recommend a Sat or Sun for the tv/movie tour which is when we went because traffic was very light. Contrarily, the NBC studio tour was dull and lifeless because it was a Sat. Nothing was going on at the Studio. I can only imagine or hope that the studio tour is much more exciting when actual broadcasting is going on. We just walked around the bldg looking at empty sets. It was painful. The most exciting thing was when a tour group member got a chance to do the weather and anchor news, but even that couldn't rescucitate the tour. Not sure if doing the studio tour AFTER the tv/movie tour was such a good idea, as it was surely anticlimatical. If I had to do all over again, I'd relive the tv/movie tour and forgo the NBC Studio tour.

I loved this tour! It was so much fun. I love movies and stuff and it was awesome to see the places on the screen while actually watching clips of that same place at the same time. It's like you're watching a clip from a movie and you're like, I remember this, and then you look out the window and you're there. Not that the whole tour is movie clips...The tour guide was an incredibly nice woman. She knew so much about everything. You could ask about any TV show that had to do with New York and she could tell you about it..including where it was shot..and if you could go see it..plus she just knew little tidbits she let us in on...She pointed out where some of the celebrities live...Lunch was quick, but it was good...This tour was also a great way to just see a lot of the city in an extremely comfortable atmosphere. I saw so much more of the city than I would have seen otherwise because of the tour. Anyway, it was great. I would definately recommend it!

One of the highlights of our trip. Our guide Gary was wonderful, full of personality and information. The tour is great as it goes all over the city and you get to see parts you may not see on your own. We would definitely recommend this to anyone!

From his opening song to the end of the tour, Gary provided laughs, great stories and seemed to love his job. We felt we were lucky to have him narrate our ride.

We were very hesitant on being stuck on a bus for 3 1/2 hours when we had only 3 days to see the city. However, the tour was so informative, interesting and well planned, that the time went by very fast. The tour guide, Gary, was great. I highly recommend this tour
