| We booked this for our family of 2 adults, 16yr old girl & 18yr old boy as a way to get over jet lag from the UK. Very easy to fly to NY, arrive midnight, go to bed & next day do this relaxing tour of NY. Learnt a lot about things that I didn't expect to hear about, and even more than I expected to hear about the various shows/films depicted in NY. Had a rep called Gary who had a lot of interesting and entertaining information. All done very seamlessly so you didn't notice the time passing at all. We stopped at 4 or 5 locations to get out and stretch our legs and talk more about the area/shows in question and sometimes to buy food or drink. Bus tour ended and we then went to have a late lunch and then make our own way to the NBC studio which was only a couple of blocks away. Having pre-booked the time of our NBC tour we arrived too early and were able to change it for an earlier tour. Not quite as interesting as the bus tour but for those more familiar with the tv live shows it seemed very stimulating. Again learnt a lot and also watched a set being built and a rehearsal of one of the shows which was the best bit for us. Do ask questions as they give a lot more information if you can all get talking. Overall I would recommend this to anyone because although our 18yr old boy was the least interested in this kind of thing compared to us, it was still a great way to pass the day when you're weary, but want to make the most of your visit to NY. |

| I wasn't really very excited about this tour, but my two young adult daughters wanted to go, so go we did. And I am so glad! It wasn't just a pointing out of the sites used in films and tv shows, but a wonderful tour of the city itself. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and taught us about the different parts of the city as we traveled around. The stop for authentic New York style pizza was unexpected, but delightful and delicious! The clips from movies and television shows shown on the bus helped us to recall the things we were seeing. We spent another full day earlier doing hop on-hop off tours (4 in one day) and if we were to choose again, we'd skip them and go for this TV/Movie Site tour only.
The only negative was the inability to get into an NBC tour that worked for our schedule after paying for it! The cost was so low that we just ate the expense, but it was frustrating to have to pay for it one place, and try to schedule it another. Didn't work out for us.
But we highly recommend the TV/Movie Sites tour. |

| Our Tour Guide Gary made the whole time really fun, with Trivia questions, playing video clips and theme songs during the drive. It was great that we got on and off the bus several times and the time flew by. We got to see so many places and learn many interesting little tidbits. |

| We were excited about the combo tour...the bus tour would give us a sense of the city as well as entertain the kids on the way. combine that with the studio tour and all ten of us were looking forward to the tour.
It was Columbus Day week-end and there were streets closed. This is a huge week-end every year and the OnLocation team should know that. We spent an hour driving around mid-town and when we finally reached our first stop, we all lept at the chance to get off the bus and out of the tour. Not only had we wasted a precious two hours of our week-end, but we spent it listening to a guide tell us more about his career than the city. It was awful.
This was a huge disappointment. |

| I cannot imagine a better way to travel the city and see the places where lots of movies have been shot. It was a terrific and fun tour to do. Eventhough I'm a local I pretended to be outsider to fully enjoy this trip. I had a blast! |

| We loved this tour. We got stuck in parade traffic but our tour guide, Brian, made even this part of the tour a fun experience. He is very entertaining, funny and personable. We knew he sympathized and really cared about us. Once we got out of the terrible traffic delays he was able to share with us his incredible knowledge of the area and was willing to answer general questions about New York.
We would recommend this tour to everyone and would highly recommend Brian Taylor as your guide.. |

| We attended the TV/Movie Sites Tour as part of a recent vacation in New York. The Tour allowed us to take in many of the sights of New York within the context of the well known TV shows and films that we all know and love. The enthusiastic and friendly tour guide gave us some amazing insights and the use of on board Film and TV clips enhanced the experience further. |

| The Movie Sites Tour was great. Our tour guide Roseanne had a lot of inside information, and even showed us where some of the celebrities live. My stalker part of my personality was very happy. Also, she was very funny and entertaining all the way through even though it was 3 hours long.
The NBC tour on the other hand was a bit of a disappointment. Very short, and obviously designed for tourists. We saw some studios (most notably, SNL), but on the whole we didnt really get a behind the scenes look. The even had a mock studio specifically for the tour, which is not very authentic. |

| It was fun to ride around the city and have sites pointed out to you. Time moved quickly enough and the tour guide really tried to appeal to everyone. Nice touch on the cookie mid-way through tour.
As for the NBC studio tour, I have had more informative and interesting tours of a friend's new house (and we know how boring those are). Totally skip it and just breeze into the gift shop if you are in need of a Sheinhardt Wig Company t-shirt. |
