| I have to admit I'm a little bit biased, coming from (and having grown up in) the LA area and kinda jaded about movie/TV sites, but my 13 year old son was pretty excited about seeing some locales from movies he's seen. I was at first really impressed by tour guide Brian but as the trip progressed, I realized that we were going to be treated to sites from a lot of movies from the 70s and 80s and the two stops we made were related to shows not even on the air anymore. Really, my son could care less about The Cosby show house exterior and while I was excited about the Friend's apartment building, he thought there was just too much about Friends and not enough modern movie sites. My son had me ask about sites from Cloverfield, and we got a snotty response from Brian that he didn't like destruction of New York movies and so he didn't see it. He didn't even believe it had been shot there, but he didn't know. (Maybe he should see the movie and realize that it might be great to point out all the discrepancies in locales; he seems to like to do this.) However, he went ON and ON about I Am Legend and that is a total destruction of NYC movie...in any case, my son was kind of embarrassed by Brian's put down. In the end, we had a lot of traffic to deal with and the walking part of the tour was cut short. It was a nice tour of the city and I kind of got my bearings about neighborhoods from it, but my son was really disappointed. I'd suggest updating the references and locales for the younger customers or maybe doing a separate tour for the IPod generation.
He was thrilled by the way by the NBC studio tour and the SNL set. Christopher Walken walked right by our group. Woo Hoo! More cowbell... |

| I throughly enjoyed this activity. It was awesome being able to see sites that I'd seen in many movies and TV. It only takes 3 and a half hours and its well worth it!!!!! |

| The tour was enjoyed by 2 senior grandparents and their 14 year old grandson. The adults are local, the youngster from Pittsburgh. Our guide, Brian, was wonderful: enthusiastic, polite, informative. (The black and white cookies were great, too.) As a native New Yorker, I got to visit areas of Manhattan that I hadn't seen before, such as the meat packing district. However, you can skip the Rice to Riches stop; many people turned down the free rice pudding (the 3 of us included) because they dislike rice pudding. Offer something more appealing. On the whole, I highly recommend this tour.
The NBC tour was interesting, as well, although it was annoying to have to start and end the tour in the gift shop, and plow our way through the mob. |

| Our tour guide Gary Mahmoud was terrific: he knows an amazing amount of interesting trivia, and he spewed it all out rapid fire with perfect timing and a sense of humor. It would be terrible with a bad tour guide, so I can only reccommend the tour if Gary is your guide.
Bring your lunch if you need to eat during the tour. Cookies were distributed, but there is no lunch stop and there really isnt time to pick anything up en route. |

| We would definitely recommend it. The guide was enthusiastic and an excellent speaker - he did a great job. The tour gave a good oversight to Manhattan. Do early in your holiday because then you can go back to areas of interest. There was something for everyone in our family on this tour. |

| This is a must do thing when you are in NYC, I went on this tour with my brother and we both loved it. It is a great way to see the city and if you love movies like I do, it is a great way to see were the movies and tv series were filmed. Thanks for a great tour OnLocation. Best wishes from Iceland |
