Great for true fans of the show

A great bus tour to see the west village and get glimpses of locations used on the show. True fans would really like the tour, those who don't know the show very well would probably enjoy seeing different parts of the west village, like Bleecker St. Great for chilling out and letting someone else do the planning.

Great experience

Great experience for tv and movie watchers, we loved the clips on the bus as we were travelling to different sites. Lots of variety in movies, both new and old. Tour guide was good and had some good stories, anecdotals, lost his spot a few times but forgive able. Good for groups of young adults and couple would not recommend to families with young kids, just not enough to hold their attention The stops were well timed and we loved the dash stop and the last stop at the soup nazi!!!! On the bus the clips were great but the volume was too loud and the sound was fuzzy, needs to be fixed and some monitors were not working. A/c was high at the beginning but then it was turned down so it was more comfortable.

Mon, Aug 18  11:00 AM ejhindley Female 50-59 International Tourist(s) Family With Children
We did the on locations bus tour on our very first morning I and our children who are all teenage had never been to New York before. We all loved every minute of the 3 hour tour and it gave us a great feel of Manhattan. We saw some of the famous landmarks as well as the " film " ones and our guide Scott provided us with endless interesting facts and anecdotes about films and celebrities in New York backed up by video clips. We would all highly recommend it.

Fun time

The tour is fun. With all the movies and Tv shows filmed in NYC I would hope to see more. If you are not a Ghostbusters, Friends or Seinfeld fan you might not recognize many if the locations.

It was fun!!

We enjoyed tour very much, and d lots about Central Park, and the films that were made there. The only problem we had, was the tour guide seemed to rush thru it a bit, and walked a bit to fast. He was very nice though and we had fun with him. We will be taking more tours in the future!!

Woody Allen centric
Sat, Aug 16  11:30 AM amandagbrink Female 20-29 Unspecified Unspecified
Really enjoyed the format with the video clips to see right along with the sights. Liked the parts of town that were covered. Generally felt that the movie selection was too 70s heavy and we looked at an awful lot of Woody Allen movie sites. Would have preferred more diverse film choices. Loved the inclusion of You've Got Mail, but where was Big and the toy store piano?

SATC was informative yet very long
Sat, Aug 16  11:00 AM reoloves Female 20-29 Domestic Tourist(s) Group of Friends
The SATC tour with On Location Tours was very organized. The tour guide was very knowledgeable of SATC and NYC in general. I believe splicing the SATC snippets before or after the location was discussed, kept the tour engaging for even those that may no recall all of the show's specifics. Some disapointments: 1. The tour stops were quite short, I wish there was more time at each stop. 2. I saw photos of groups stopping at Carrie's apartment for a picture op on her stoop but we never got to see the location. 3. The tour was VERY drawn out and some of the details shared were hardly worth mentioning, even for a SATC lover. Perhaps 2 hours would be better?

poor choice of stops and deleted sites.
Sat, Aug 16  11:00 AM darossi Male 70+ Local Other
Many sites were deleted due to heavy traffic. There is always heavy traffic in NYC. Alternative tour routes should be established based on locations of the traffic problem. A site priority list should be created so specific sits of high interest are rarely deleted for traffic reasons. Drop off points should also be priority driven. We stopped at Washington Square Park when a much more meaningful stop for an out of town tourist would be Rockefeller Center where that and St. Patrick Cathedral could have been better seen. We didn't even drive by the front of the Empire State Building. We drove down 5th. You cannot have a meaningful view of the building from 5th. The Plaza Hotel should have been a stop so people could actually stand on the same steps as did movie stars.

A captivating and entertaining Tour
Sat, Aug 16  11:00 AM JimSlomka Male 60-69 International Tourist(s) Family With Children
Our host (Scott) was personable, knowledgeable, accommodating and entertaining. He was very passionate and answered all our questions. We appreciated the opportunity to visit locations that were familiar to us via TV and at the theatre. The tour was good value for the money and I would highly recommend it. JS

Tour guide had lots of information about the shooting of the Sopranos because he was often a stand in. I would recommend any Soprano fans take this tour. Darlene

Our tour guide was great! She was fun and enthusiastic and you could tell she loved the show! The stops were well distributed and exciting ! We got to watch clips from the show of the locations we were passing. We passed by smaller locations such as Ralph Lauren where Serena is on the phone with Ben, and stopped at larger locations such as the Empire and The Met Steps. Very worth it. We chose Priority boarding and we got to board the bus earlier and got to sit in the front few rows . Since our tour guide had a microphone and there was tv's coming down from the roof of the bus you didn't miss anything sitting closer to the back. We got there 10 minutes before the tour started and there was already a line of eager fans to get on the bus. We would have been last if we did not have priority boarding. We had 2 shopping stops that were fun and tied into the show. I won't spoil the surprise but they were awesome. We all got one of Blair's favourite good (macaroons) when we got on the bus from our last stop! Our tour guide told us at the very start that we will NOT be dropped off at the same location we started. We ended at Grand Central station. Id clarify with your tour guide where you will be dropped off. Totally worth it. I was with my sister and mom who have never seen gossip girl and they still enjoyed it! So fun! You pass by The macaroon shop where blair goes with louis sister to pick our macaroons for her shower. We went the day before and macaroons , luckily we did because we didn't stop there. For those who wonder it's called Laudrée and it's on Madison Ave. delicious! We passed by so many locations that were in the show and I really enjoyed it. I'd do it again next time I visit the city! Good luck and have fun!

Gossip girl

Our guide was an exuberant, knowledgeable young woman. She made the tour a lot of fun! My husband and I did this tour with our two teenage granddaughters. We have not seen a single episode of Gossip Girl, but still enjoyed the tour.
