Great tour but dont get the gift bag! Sex and the City Hotspots

This was a really fun tour and a great way to relive Sex and the City. Our tour guide was the most upbeat and enthusiastic guide we could have asked for! It really was a ton of fun and i would recommend this for anyone. The only dissapointment was I spent the extra 30 dollars on the gift bags (my best friend and i were celebrating our birthdays) and it was not even remotely worth it. It was just a tin box with a pink boa and a small pack of candy, a suggestive straw and a fuzzy mask to cover your eyes with (all of which i could have bought for under 30 bucks and none of which were really that impressive) So save the money and spend it on a cosmo or one of the awesome shops you can recieve a discount on!

I had a great time, got to meet "Vince" and visit a lot of locations. I will how ever only recommend the trip for true Sopranos fans, as some of the locations might seem a bit strange for people who have only watched a handful of episodes. I was awsome to sit at Tony's booth from the last episode, and it was also great to visit Bada Bing. Our tour guide Marc did a great job, and kept us busy with a lot of trivia and questions. We loved the little trivia games, and film clips during the Sex and the City tour. Going to Magnolia bakery was a fun little treat. We loved the little facts of the actors which corresponded with the show (such as Aiden's baby in the one episode was actually Sarah Jessica Parker's, and Carrie's "date with NY day" was the day Sarah J found out she was pregnant. Very cute. Did I love this tour? As Big would say....Abso-fuckin-lutely.

This is the 3rd time I've done this tour. I teach a college course on STC and bring my students. I've had this same guide before and she was excellent. I enjoyed the new additions and tie ins to the movie and the new script. The one area in which I was disappointed was not being able to go to Carrie's stoop. I understood from the guide that the owner no longer allows it, which is too bad. Is there some way the company could offer to pay for allowing the tour groups to take a picture there? This was the first time I had an actual cupcake from Magnolia Bakery and I must say, I found those from the sister bakery to be more moist. As always, the bartender at "Scouts" was very nice and accommodating. The prices on the drinks really shot up. Last year, $4 was charged for Virgin Cosmos and this year it was $7, however, my students still enjoyed it. I hope the tour sites and script will change periodically, to keep it fresh. Kimberly did a great job!! It was a beautiful day and for all the times I've been to New York,[probably 150 times in the last 5 years], I've never really explored the park. It's just beautiful and so many movies were filmed there!!
SATC Tour Shows Sites Needs Energy Sex and the City Hotspots

Maybe it was the tour that I was on, but there lacked a certain amount of energy I thought there would be. The spots they showed on the tour were great and the fact that they show a clip from the show or movie that went along with the site put things into context. I thought the tour stopped by Carrie's stoop, and it did not. So that was kind of a bummer. It's a nice trip around NYC, even if you aren't a SATC fan.

Well, I came on this tour with trepidation just to keep my wife company who is a huge SATC fan. And the final results - I enjoyed it. She loved it and all the trivia from the guide. The video clips on the bus helped me follow the action and turned what could have been an awful endurance trip worse than shopping for shoes into an enjoyable day! The guide (Lou) was great - she must do this tours hundreds of times but made us feel like she was really keen to do the tour again. A good guide makes or breaks a tour and she made it. We have already recommended this to our friends who come to New York.

We had a wonderful time on this tour! My husband even enjoyed it! I just wish it could have been a little more spontaneous. Pink was singing in Rockefeller Center and I would have loved to have been able to pull the bus over and watch her for a little while. I understand the tour is on a time crunch, but I think everyone on the tour is looking to see a celebrity, so that would have been great. Other than that, I loved the tour and would do it again.

My husband and I (along with 2 sons, 17 and 15) went on the TV and Movies Site tour last Friday, and really enjoyed it. Kimberley gave us so much information, she spoke clearly and concisely, and we were never in any doubt which building we should be looking at out of the coach window. The movie clips shown on board were useful and made the inevitable traffic jams practically unnoticeable! I would definitely recommend this tour, and Kimberley was great - funny but informative.We now want to go out and rewatch loads of movies. Thanks!

We booked the tour while on vacation in New York and we were jucky to get a place at all. It seems to be very popular! At only $40 per person, it was very good value for money. We didn't know what to expect but it was fantastic from the start! Our guide, Amy, was the perfect person to conduct the tour, she was funny and entertaining. It helps that she is a stand-up comedian/actress. We laughed our way around the city! The tour covers most of the locations from the series and the movie and some scenes were played on the screen in the bus so we could familiarise ourselves with what the guide had been talking about! We visited Magnolia bakery and got free cupcakes and a bar from the series, although we had to pay for our drinks, they came at a reduced rate! The tour is quite long, at over 3hrs, but the time seemed to fly by very quickly! It was great fun and I would highly recommend it to any Sex and the City fans.

Our tour guide was excellent she was very easy to listen to and showed great clips of sex and the city. it was lovely to get the cup cakes, visit fresh and stop off for a drink. I wld highly recommend this tour.

My mother and I were in NYC for our first time and the Sex and the City tour was a great way to start the week... and the cocktails were really good!! All the places visited on the tour were really exciting and it gave us some ideas of where to go during our stay in the Big Apple. I would take the tour again and I would certainly recommend it to my friends.
