On Location Tours

Very interesting....wish I had some kind of notebook to remember everything. Enjoyed the trivia on the bus and the guide seemed like she really enjoyed giving the tour. Passed by building that I have seen 1000 times and never knew there were celebrities who lived there.

At first I didn't realise that we weren't getting off bus at every stop so would have liked to have had video camera ready, should be told this. I also thought it would be better if the guide dressed up like the SATC girls to gove it more of a fun feeling.

My friend and I received the tour as part of a weekend get-away to NYC from our husbands. Since it was our first time in New York and we were only in the city for 3 days, the tour was a great way to see parts of NYC that we would not have seen otherwise. Since it was a surprise, I did not know what to expect. I liked that we got off the bus several times. I also liked that the tour guide showed clips from the show that highlighted a specific place, and then that place would be pointed out. The only disappointment was that our picture on Carrie's steps did not come out :( Overall, it was an excellent tour, not only of scenes from "Sex and the City" but of NYC.

Highly recommend it for sex in the city fans

The tour itself was good. The tour guide (Liz) didn't seem as thorough in making sure she had all of the tour group back on the bus after each stop. There was no head count each time. It was more like "yell if you notice the people that were sitting by you before are not on the bus now." It seemed as if she didn't care that some people actually didn't make it back on the bus after a couple of stops.

Fun, Fun, Fun!!! Even if you're not a fanatic about Sex and the City it was a great little city tour and if you've even watched the show once, it enlightened you about how shows are filmed, bloopers that occur and that you cannot believe everything you see. Tour guide was excellent. Great sense of humor. The entire tour was well organized and Tour guide did a great job keeping everyone moving on schedule. Only downside was the Cosmos at the end....they were quite tasty but not cold enough. They were ordered in advance prior to our arrival so were luke warm when we arrived. Otherwise, all was GREAT!

i would definitely recommend the tour to others. i was suprised we were able to get off at the different locations as much as we did. it was one of the highlights of my trip and i reallly enjoyed it

I thought this tour was a complete waste of time and I was very angry how much it cost and how little we actually spent OFF the bus. I also thought for the price we could have gotten some color copies of the pamphlets, not dinky black and white xerox copies. I also thought we could have driven around fewer places so that we could spend more time off the bus. Really, though, a COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. I was VERY disappointed.

I would never recommend this to anyone. Total waste of my time

If you are a Sopranos fan, go on this tour. Its fantastic, you will see all the sites you see on the TV. And to top it all you will visit the real Bada Bing club!! The guide was brilliant, he kept us all entertained with Sopranos gossip, facts and trivia for just over 4 hours. Go on, do it, it will be the best tour you could take.

I really enjoyed the tour. You have to understand Soporano's in order to understand the locations that the shw was shot at. It would be ideally to meet more cast members.

This tour imo is very much for the 'hardcore' Sopranos fan, it is very detailed and actuly not that visual, the guy who led the tour was very good, I would have thought some use of the monitors on the bus would have added to the tour, ie showing the Sopranos characters that were being discussed. At 4 hours at least 1 hour too long.

I'd recommend it to a fan of the show... there is quite a bit of detail on offer so if you know the show well, you'll be impressed... I guess a lot of people go to get photos but there are limited stops / opportunities for these, but then again the tour would go all day in that case... Guide was really good.

Very good informative tour - the guide was excellent and knew everything there was to know about the Sopranos! I would deffinitely recommend this to someone coming to NY who was a fan of the show! I've never seen the show and I really enjoyed it!! My boyfriend who is a huge fan loved it!

Excellent tour for someone who has already seen the "typical" New York City (ie Empire State building, etc). I live in the UWS and had a FABULOUS time. It had a little bit of everything!
