Fantastic!! Sex and the City Hotspots

Really glad we did this tour at the beginning of our trip as we went back to many of the locations later on in the week. A good way to see other new york districts away from the top 10 NY attractions and loved to see the film clips before viewing each location. We went back to the Buddakhan restaurant - every dish was perfectly cooked, I will definately be returning on my next trip.

The tour was just ok. I expected stops at the places that the girls in the show "lived" at and frequented the most--what I mean is I expected to see the exteriors of these places as I assumed that most of the indoor filming would be on a set. The places that we made stops at seemed to be places that were only shown once on the show aside from the bar. It really made me assume the places we stopped at give the On Locations people kickbacks or something for bringing tourists there. Given that the tour is over 3 hours I thought we would pass by the exteriors of more sites on the show. However, with NYC traffic I can see why it's hard to navigate a huge bus around. Our tour guide was also mediocre. She seemed nice enough (until the end when she harshly told the group that a lot of the indoor filming is on a set). But she also made sure not to leave people behind which was nice. However I didn't feel that she told us very many interesting tidbits that we wouldn't have known about the show-it seemed more like a recap of the show which I can do by watching the show myself and not paying $40 each. There were a few things she mentioned that were interesting but not as many as I had hoped for. Some of the other reviews I've read for it talked about how awesome their tourguide was so maybe I was just unlucky with the girl I got. Overall it was a nice way to see some of the city that's not generally touristy but I'm not sure it was worth the price.

I've been to New York quite a few times already, but this is the first time I've done an organised tour. Our tour guide Emily was fantastic. She was so knowledgeable, fun and really related to the group. The tour was well planned and gave you a real sense of the whole of the city and your really did feel like you were following in their footsteps. The great thing was that you could compare each place with the relevant clip of the movie or show. Am absolute must for any Sex and the City Fan. I wanted to rush back and watch some episodes!

Incredible tour New York TV and Movie Sites

This was an incredible tour with a friendly and knowledgeable guide. Well worth the money for a 3-1/2 hour tour around NYC. The bus was comfortable and air conditioned. The bus driver was able to navigate all of the streets, which is not an easy task. It was a wonderful, enjoyable day. Highly recommend to all!

This tour was really cool....it gives you some really good hotspots location wise and makes the movie/series come alive...the 3hrs seemed to pass so quickly and I don't know if thats a good thing or a bd thing! A definite go see for any fans of SATC.

As a real sex and the city fan (seen the whole series at least 7 times), I enjoyed the tour. To get everything out of it I think you should REALLY know the series by heart to remember all the places the girls have dined in and so on. For me the experience was wonderful and we saw many, many different places linked to this series. But I wondered how the boyfriends of the girls on tour experienced it. I can recommend to any real fan!

Coach was on time (early in fact!) Guide was very imformative and entertaining....he made sure everybody on the coach joined in. Lots of sights to see, great photo opportunities, cant say much more but I would certainly say it was the best tour I have ever been on. 5 star......give it a go!

I went on the sex and the city tour with my 14 year old s.a.t.c. obsessed daughter. I was a little concerned beforehand as to it being too risque but we had a great time. Lou was our tour guide and showed us all the new york filming locations at the same time as viewing the dvd to refresh our memory of the film and series. We made stops at steves bar, magnolia bakery, restaurant where carrie and bigs pre wedding meal happened and the pleasure dome(didnt take my daughter into that one)! We would thouroughly recommend this tour, it was great value for money and great mother and daughter time. We ended the tour at the h.b.o store where we were able to purchase some s.a.t.c goodies. A great day!!!

First I would like to say a huge THANK YOU to Harrison on the customer service line who at the last minute rescheduled our tour from Saturday to Sunday. The tour was well thought out, educational and overall it was amazing to see specific locations for both the show and the movie. Ally our "sexpert" was adorable, funny and enthusiastic the whole trip. Not only did you get a tour of Sex and the CIty but you saw the whole city. Thank you again for making this an amazing experience!

The tour guide was extremely funny and managed to make the time feel like it flew by. It was a shame we didn't get to go to the outside of where Carrie was have meant to have lievd. However, every other POI and more was included!

I wish the bus tour would have informed me beforehand that the bus would drop me off at the HBO Store. I booked my ticket online and I assumed that the bus would drop me off at the Pulitzer fountain. It would also be nice if the company advised that participants might want to bring a snack or bottle of water with them, even if you can only snack periodically while at a stop. Overall I did enjoy the tour and will recommend it to others. Thanks.
