On Location Tours

Tour guide was very good, very knowledgeable. It was a fun tour but it was absolutely tipping down with rain and a thoroughly miserable day, which didn't get off to a very good start when the bus was 30 minutes late. The trip is an excellent way to see Manhattan as you get to see so many locations from the programme, however, if you are like me and do not know much about the programme (i took a SATC mad friend for her birthday) then some of the locations don't mean much. Though the clips shown on the bus do help. Both my friend and I thought the tour was a little bit long and stopping off for both a cupcake AND a drink as well as at the sex store was a bit too much. Altogether a good day but a bit too long!

The tour was very funny, and it was great to see and get to visit places from the show. I would definitely recommend the tour, especially to those who enjoy cosmopolitan cocktails!

The tour was really interesting, informative, and fun. I liked how the tour showed the clips of the same locations in the S & C show. It was nice to see all those martinis ready for us at Adian and Steve's bar. The muffins were a great touch, but would have been nice if we got more time to purchase the ones from the Magnolia Bakery since we had to walk past it to go back to the bus from Carrie's stoop. That way we could also get a cup of coffee or hot coco with our muffin. Overall, it was a very nice tour that I'd recommend to all my friends.

1) It was absolutely unacceptable to keep a group waiting in torrential, freezing rain (11/12/2004) for a bus that was late. What's more, the ticket instructed us to arrive at least 10 minutes early and, thus, this extended our extremely unpleasant wait in freezing temperatures and pouring rain. There is no excuse for that bus not being on time. And, hardly an apology was issued nor were explanations offered for the delay. 2) The stops were too frequent with too little time; it would be preferable to have fewer stops with more time at those stops. This was especially so given the horrible weather--that is, on/off/on/off the bus into the rain.

i recommended it to everyone i know - a lot of fun!

The tour was very entertaining and great fun! In winter, the tours should start earlier in the day, as it is difficult to see sights/locations in the dark. A must for all Sex & City fans!

The tour was a blast... seeing the clips and checking out the corresponding locations was great (esp. 'Aiden's bar', Magnolia Bakery & the Pleasure Chest). But the topper was really the guide Liz's commentary. She was hysterical - a perfect fit. So glad we did it. Worth every minute & cent.

We would recommend this tour to anyone who has even seen one Sex in The City episode. We are from Portland, OR and we couldn't resist or even think of not going....we came to see were they filmed and you guys made it so easy and entertaining!!! Thanks. Christina and Meagan Alwert

Extremely enjoyable.

I loved it! Our tour guide was absolutely great and hilarious. It was really cool that the cupcakes were given to us. Two suggestions: more on-location stops and a cute little sex and the city souvenir. I highly recommend this tour!

Would have liked more info on city landmarks, buildings, parts of town. Tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. Overall chemistery of group lacked due to small size.

I really enjoyed it and our guide was very imformative. I liked that it also kind of combined as a tour of the different areas, so I didn't have to book a sight-seeing tour aswell. I loved that there were trivia questions. The 3 hours went too quickly! I would definitely recommend this tour to friends who come to new york.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour (except for the traffic because of the Veteran's Day Parade) and especially enjoyed the insightfulness of the tour guide. Very informative and even as a New Yorker, I learned a lot about locations in the City that I never Knew. Bus was very comfortable and the driver was very courteous. We loved going from 81st street all the way down to Canal Street and back up to 51st street---a very nice ride. I would recommend and probably do another tour when I visit Christmas time.

An absolutely FANTASTIC experience. Our tour guide was totally appropriate for the SATC tour and she certainly showed her passion for the show by the things she knew and the way she spoke about it. I especially loved being taken to Carries apartment and her taking time to take pictures of all of us. I would recommend this to any die hard fans and all girly girls out there looking to kill an afternoon by drinking some Carrie juice (A Cosmopolitan), seeing Tiffany & Co, passing the gym where Miranda works out and also visiting the Meatpacking district where Samantha lives, the Pleasure Chest where they purchase the famous Rabbit, and also the fabulous shop which is owned by Patricia Fielding who designs the outfits on the show. An absolutely brilliant afternoon.
