Great Tour - Lots of Fun! Sex and the City Hotspots

A friend of mine and I had a great time on this tour - we spent the afternoon doing this while our husbands went to watch football, and it was well worth it! The video clips really helped jog the memory on the locations, and the timing went very smoothly. (The cupcakes and cosmos weren't bad either!) I would definately recommend it to any fans of the show planning a trip to NYC!

Just arrived back in South Australia and have been talking to work collegues about our Sopranos Tour. It was the highlight of our whole vacation. To meet Marc and Joseph (Vito) was excellent. We had a wonderful time checking out the sites and locations. To participate in the quiz.......and to win a cigar was brilliant. Our visit to Satin Dolls (Bada Bing) and also Holstens was great. It was great to be able to get a description of what we were about to see and then watch the clip of the scene ahead of time. Lou was an awesome tour guide, really full of enthusiasm and knew her Sex and the City.

Great fun, but a few places were driven past too quickly so unable to get picture and also difficult to remember everything that you were told. Would be more useful to receive a map afterwards giving details of where you had visited (including were these places were used in the Sex and the City series). But still great fun.

Besides seeing the Sex and the City sites it was fun to see other parts of NYC. I was disappointed that they were selling the drinks at the bar "Scout". We assumed that they were part of the tour. The guide on the bus was wonderful but the girl at the meeting place was not organized. It was a cold and windy day and she made us stand outside even after the bus arrived. People were asking to board the bus but she wouldn't let us.

If you're lucky, you'll get guide Gary, who we also had on the OnLocation tour. He's great! It's not everyday you get to have a drink in the Bada Bing (aka Satin Dolls), meet the owner and his adorable bling-bedecked teacup Yorkie, and get a free Bada Bing thong. Not to mention the visit to Holsten's!! Between stops, you can watch clips from the show, and listen to the theme song (love it!). In any case, it's a cool way to visit New Jersey. Highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really enjoyed this tour, Brian was very informative and knew alot of fun detailes about everywhere in NYC which made the tour very entertaining. The tour showed a wide variety of places where shows and movies have been filmed in the city that everyone could find something they would like on this tour. Very fun! O yeah--And Brian was a great guide!!

This tour was so much fun. From start to finish, absolutely the best. It covers so much more than I thought it would and was not rushed one bit. The tour guide was very informative and entertaining. I actually went on this tour because of my daughter. She is a huge fan. I think I liked it more than she did. Loved all the stops. Not sure what was the best. They were all interesting in their own little way. ; - ) GO ON THIS TOUR. You'll be so happy that you did.

We enjoyed the behind the Sopranos info the guide gave us and seeing the location sites. The air conditioning on the bus did not work very well so it was quite warm.

Overall the tour was good value for money and jam packed full of information. I really enjoyed the locations where Hitch is filmed, I love that movie. The films that were shown I thought were a good range of recent and older films, which I appreciated as I'm a movie geek. It was good that the scenes were shown to us as and when we saw the locations, which made the location seem more in context. The guide Gary was brilliant, very knowledge and obsessed about film and tv show as we all were. There was all to fit in, in the short space of time we had but we were given locations addresses to go back to if we wanted to see the location for longer. Would definitely recommend this tour, very enteraining and good value you for money.
