On Location Tours

It was a 3 hour bus trip showing mundane locations in the series. Did not even get to see Carrie's stoop. Content is really only one hours worth - Manhattan traffic makes it 3 hours.

Brian was a great tour guide

This tour met all of my requirements. I particularly enjoyed the stops in Greenwich Village and Soho and the quick walk-about in Washington Square. Also enjoyed being shown along the way where some of the celebrities reside and the set location of many of our favourite TV shows and/or movies. My niece particularly enjoyed the last stop as she is a 'Gossip Girl' fan

Very good way to see the city quickly and get the inside info on movie sites. You will see things you wouldn't be aware of if you tried to do this kind of tour on your own.

My girlfriend and I took this tour near the end of our trip and we wished we had taken it first as it gives you an idea of other things you'd like to while visiting NYC (but we'll have to save it for the next trip). Our tour guide was fantastic! she was knowledgeable, gave tips on some great shopping spots and fun! The tour has a little bit of everything food, sex, drinks and shopping! If you're a fan of the show you'll get to see the different places that they ate, shot famous scenes etc. this is not you're standard bus tour, before you know it the 3.5 hour tour is over. The only disappointment was the Magnolia cupcakes - as nice as it was for the tour company to provide the cupcakes, they tasted stale and dry. We weren't sure if they actually tasted that way or if they were pre-purchased (and when) but I would have rather stood inline to buy a fresh cupcake - but the line up is crazy at Magnolia Bakery and we wouldn't really have had time.

I can honestly say that this tour was fantastic. We saw so many hotspots my husband even enjoyed it. The information we also received after the tour was excellent as it enabled us to visit some more social hotspots. Our tour guide was amazing, informative and made the experience a memorable day. You go girls.

I really enjoyed the tour. I am a big fan of the show and a trip to New York would not have been complete without the Sex and the city tour! I went on my own but met a fellow tourist on the tour and we enjoyed our cosmos and cupcakes together! It was great fun. I would really recommend it. Nice way to see neighburhoods of New York that you may not otherwise have a chance to see and a must if you are a fan of the show!

Overall, I enjoyed the tour, however, I would recommend only going on the tour if you are an extreme movie fan. Also it seemed like there were many references to the same few movies over and over and over and over and over again. I would have liked to have taken more stops and had more shopping opportunities as a souvenier of the tour. I think the Sex and The City tour would have been alot more fun! Sorry! The tour guide was very informed though.

I took this tour with my sister and a friend of ours. My sister and I are HUGE fans of SATC, but our friend has only seen bits and pieces of it. The tourguide was SO energetic and fun; but even though the tour was great, my friend didn't fully enjoy it the way that we did. I think that if you're going on this tour you will LOVE it if you are a devotée to the show.

I had a great time on the tour, our tour guide was great and very informative. I would recommend the Sex and the City tour as a must do while in New York.

Loved it. The next time I go to New York I will either do the Sopranos or the Sex and the City tour.

Did the Sex and The City Tour. It was a beautiful Saturday. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable about the show and movie. Unfortunetly, there were many street fairs going on that day so the driver had to take detours off the tour route. We were all troopers about it but it made for a long afternoon. We stopped at the meet packing district which I could have done without, and stayed /stopped in SOHO instead. Glad we did it, but won't need to do it again.

So much fun to go behind the scenes but there was so much more - the giude was so knowledgeable about the show and provided interesting insights into more than just the locations....

I liked my tour guide. She was very informative but I felt that even tough there is language used in the actual show of Sex and the City, I dont feel that the tour guide needs to use the same foul language in describing anything she has to say including her experiences with the show or its actors and actresses. I do recommend the tour to anyone that loves the show as I do.
