On Location Tours

You need to be a hardcore fan to really appreciate this tour, much of the sites are car parks, industrial sites etc where "whacks" have happened! With the best locations last, the diner where the final scene was shot and the bada bing! The tour guide knows absolutely everything and every line to the film and relays a lot of info! So if you're not a fan you be a little bored We got the opportunity to meet the actor who plays Vito before the the tour and I believe he makes an appearance at most of these but he does charge 20$ for a photo and offers additional merchandise. We declined but many took him up on the offer so ensure you have some cash if you wish to meet him. All in all a good day but again must be a real hardcore fan to get the benefit of the tour

This tour was one of my reasons to came from Argentina. Even though it could last longer (because there are too many places that we did not visit), it is wonderful!! The guide was great and I really loved all the spoilers she told us.

The tour guide was highly entertaining, and the tour was a different way to see New York.

Just two girlsfriend in a bus full of women sharing the same feeling about sex and the city We had so mush fun and the animator was so nice, funny, beautiful and as sexy as the woman in sex and the city. We were so glad and happy to have her for animator. Every stop was perfect and match with the story (sex toys, cupcake, small restaurant, all the place being seen in the movie) And just a good idea to see some scene of the serie and movie because i'm so nostalgic of the moment i wait every saturday to see an episode. And i discover for the first time the cosmo (but alcohol don't fits me! hihihi for me nearly drunk after one glass maybe because i'm a small nature) and it was delicious i understand why they choose this alcohol to end the first movie ^^ The animator was so kind to us! Totally recommended! Thank you so much it was absolutely perfect!!!

You'll really enjoy this tour if you have seen or are familiar with the shows mentioned. If you aren't so sure you still get a long tour around Manhattan.

We had a fantastic tour. So much better that I expected (and we went just hours after a major snowstorm in NYC). Try to have Lou as your guide; she was fabulous!

Was the best tour we went on while in ny. Gary had a great sense of humour and made the tour much more enjoyable. He had a lot of information for everywhere we went, there was no time when were wernt listening or watching.

It was interesting but we were disappointed that we could not hear the guide well on the street/park/etc. Even on the bus at times he was a little difficult to understand because he spoke very fast. We noted there were a number on the bus from other countries and we wondered if they could understand him. Another thing, he would say something was coming up in the next few blocks, but then when we got to it, he didn't usually point it out specifically. Fortunately we were not first time visitors to NYC, so could recognize some things. He had the disadvantage that Friday was a rainy, sloppy day, but it seemed like it still could've been better.

It was a very nice trip to do on the first day you arrive in New York. I would have loved it more if we would have stopped more often to make pictures. Even if that would make the trip longer and more expensive.

This was a really fun experience and I'm really glad I did it. The guide (Roseanne) was hilarious and I just giggled the whole 3.5 hour. I really recommend this tour, even if you don't know all the series or movies meantioned, you really get to see a big part of New York. I was a bit worried that it was going to be an open bus but it was warm and cosy (thank god, because it was freezing outside!) and there was a toilett onboard. Totally worth the money.

We needed a way to tour New York and this was the perfect way. Not only did our actor/tour guide show us where so many movies/tv shows were filmed, he gave us a lot of "behind the scenes" information from movies he had actually been in! He was very entertaining even though our group was a little less than enthusiastic with the cold. But the bus was heated and to top things off, we got to see clips of the movies/tv shows on an on-bus television of the sites we were visiting. Learned a lot about New York and filming and our wonderful tour guide. Thanks for an awesome time!

The tour takes you through most of the SATC movie locations starting at the Plaza near central park and ending close to the NY Public Library where Carry was to have her wedding in movie number one. Our tour guide had an especially awesome sense of humor and was very knowledgeable of SATC!

It's very unfortunate but this tour was horrible. The DVD that was supposed to show the scenes was not working and the entire tour seemed very amateur. The tour guide was trying to be funny and all you would hear were crickets. It was not worth the ticket price. You could go online and google Sex in the City locations and do your own tour. Tour was awesome Gary was a great guy ! Fun to be around a knew his stuff ! One of the best tours I've been on as I'm a big fan of the sopranos !
