On Location Tours

This was fun... A little too geared toward tourists but thats to be expected. The guide (Lou) was great

Well, if you're going to treat us to free cupcakes, it's a nice gesture BUT if they come out of a box served on the street outdoors, the icing is already crunchy because it's freezing out and the tour guide asked for a vote to eat them on the bus or outside (but she wanted us all to agree to eat them outside...because as she mentioned 2x...it's a brand new bus). So we were left eating them, standing in the freezing cold out on the sidewalk. The itinerary mentions the bakery anyway, it would have been a delight to go in. I got the feeling the bakery didn't want to deal with the tour crowd? Not a good feeling, so we didn't bother going in. SUGGESTION FROM MY PARTY: Treat us special, a coupon for a free cupcake (to choose ourselves inside the shop) Or leave each of us a cute box on our bus seat from the bakery with the cupcake inside. Like we're special and not school kids who will smear icing on your bus. Isn't their another store in NYC that would like to welcome us in? The coupons for 15% off a couple of shops were a nice gesture but nothing special since we only had 15 minutes to shop. Some stops were only 10 minutes. A total of 4 stops? Lunch, anywhere? Our tour guide said we could find a pizza slice at the end the of block and bring it back on the bus. But that was on the 12 min. stop at the 1st shop earlier in the tour and she didn't mention it would be our only chance at real food. When we got to O'Neals the server there suggested only chips and guacamole since we'd run out of time. So no lunch for our hungry group. Maybe not so many drive bys and more time at the stops with more options for grabbing a bite to eat.

lots to see, interesting tour

I really enjoyed my tour! Just 2 points that need to say: The window from the Bus wasnt clean (maybe cause had snowed the day before), so i couldnt take a picture from the places we just pass around cause of this. Think the windows NEED to be totally clean on every tour. The other point is about the guide (actress), she perform a nice tour. But some persons of my family arent fluent in english, so they said it was kinda hard to understand she sometimes cause she spoke really fast. But besides that, we ALL (group of 5) really loved our time in the tour. Thanks you so much :D

Great tour guide, very informative and helpful. Loads to see enroute, Comfortable seats and coach. Loved all the stops, shame we didnt see any famous faces! Absolutley worth every cent thanks v much

This tour was really good fun. Our tour guide was really informative and lots of laughs. It was also a fantastic way to see Manhattan as you're taken by bus around all the different areas. Highly recommend, good value for money!

Great tour, fast but filling with loads of ideas of where to travel to. We started our Trip with this being the first event and that gave us a good base of what we would like to see more of, where we would like to eat, etc. We went to Buddakan for dinner and it was the best meal I have ever had. We had almost every vegetable dish on the menu and I was impressed. The dim sum was fantastic, melted in our mouths like cotton candy. If you go order lots of different dishes. The drinks were excellent as well. Really happy to be introduced to it via the Sex and the City Tour. Over all great introduction to NYC!

The tour guide Lindsey was hilarious and so fun to spend 3.5 hours with! The tour was phenomenal! You see so many great things from the show and movies. And you learn lots of facts about SATC you didnt already know while seeing a lot of New York. This was one of my favorite things I did in New York!

This was not my tour of choice, being a male who can't really stand the show. However, my wife is a huge fan and I took her on the tour to try and keep myself in the good books. My wife LOVED it! Also, It was actually quite a good tour of the city for someone who isnt a fan of the show. Sami was an excellent tour guide. Her enthusiasm made things great, and almost made me feel like I liked the show! Almost.... The tour was very well ran and well worth the money. Dylans candy store is a great plus as well. Not a bad way to keep the Mrs happy :)

Sammie was an excellent tour guy, she knew the show, the parts of the city we toured even facts not about Gossip Girl, very friendly, talked personally with a lot of us...

First of all i bookt this Tour for my Girlfriend but for me as a non SATC Fan the Tour was intrestet too. We saw a lot of Location an Places it was very Funny, so don´t be shy when your GF bookt this Tour :-) !!

This was one of the highlights on my trip to the big Apple with my friend. Our guide Lindsey was HILARIOUS! I recommend making this one of the first things you do in NY. You will most likely want to further explore sites seen on this tour! In addition, you learn a lot of background information about the show!! Now go and book your tour!

The tour was absolutely brilliant, the tour guide was friendly and funny. It was everything I thought it would be and bought sex and the city to life! Not only did it tell you everything you needed to know about sex and the city but it was also a fantastic way to see the beautiful city of New York. Highly recommended!

Recently went on the Sex in the City tour since I loved the show and love NYC. I was thoroughly disappointed. Although it started at the Plaza and seemed promising, the tour thrill quickly dwindled. The "tour guide" pointed out miscellaneous landmarks from the show, which she often had to show a clip just so you could recall what was even important about the location, and very often it was nothing. The stops made during the trip left nothing to be desired Stops including a random street in SOHO w minimal shopping, an empty reataurant from the movie, a sex shop, and the one possibility of a fun pitstop being squashed w watered down overpriced cosmos and a quiet scene at Aiden's bar. My suggestion would be to take your money and spend it on an afternoon of drinks and shopping w the girls!
