On Location Tours

My family and I drove up from Delaware to take the TV and Movie Sites Tour. We were not disappointed. Our tour guide was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the New York's film and TV sites. We highly recommend adding this tour to your schedule.

I would suggest going on this early in your trip to Manhattan to learn of the hotspots you might want to visit during your stay.

great tour and very interesting, also great for seeing parts of the city

It was funny to see all those S+C locations. Great to eat a cupcake at Magnolia Bakery and great to see videos during the bus tour. It`s also like a sightseeing tour through Downtown Manhattan.

We had a great time on the tour. One question--Do you go by the brownstone where Carrie lives? Friends went on the tour last year and they saw it. But we didn't! Not to worry. Was fabulous anyway!

Really enjoyed the tour , our rep was great, she gave us some inside information about the film and about the characters. My husband came along with me, and he enjoyed the tour as much as I did. The Magnolia cakes are fabulous, and the cocktail made you feel very 'sex and the city'. All in all a good tour, you get to see parts of america you wouldn't normally go to.

i thought we would visited lots of on-site places. but we sat on the bus most of the time.

Too much time in hallways

To add more restaurrants viewing as they were constantly dining out plus shopping stop at where the girls went shopping instead of the love shop. Love shop is a private thing that wasnt really a worthy stop on the tour.

Fantastic tour, tour guide was extremely informative and also great fun - the quiz on the bus was a great idea. Highlight was having a scotch in Tony's seat at the bar in the Bing.

My wife and I took the trip on our first full day in the City. It's a really good way to get your bearings. We saw areas that we decided to visit later in our trip. The trip itself was informative and good fun. Gary the tour guide paid me 5 dollars to big him up so here goes ; Gary was excellent, he was very knowledgable, funny, handsome, kind, caring, in fact he was probably one of the greatest human beings I have ever met! Will that do Gary?

This was a fun tour that was well worth the $40. It is not for the easily offended, though. Hearing the "Our Father" with sexual tones was a little uncomfortable. I thought our guide was great and the cupcakes awaiting us was a nice touch. Getting the tickets online was very easy and I had a question which was answered immediately. All in all, a fun way to spend a few hours.

we had a bad bus, the people in front of the bus had to hold the dvd player, the tour is in german so the dvd should be in german, too you can't visit some places, which are promised (for example the stairs of carries home) the guide was nice, but I think the English Tour with the acter is better

It was a 3 hour bus trip showing mundane locations in the series. Did not even get to see Carrie's stoop. Content is really only one hours worth - Manhattan traffic makes it 3 hours.

The best thing about this tour is the video clips that accompany each venue, it really helps you get a context for what you are seeing. The three times you are left to 'wander' -sex shop, west village and bar are a waste of time and would be much better if they were facilitated by the tour guide. The visit to the sex shop is gratuitous and tacky. The bus is comfortable and clean and you get a really good taste of NYC.I would however start the last tour of the day earlier because by the time we finished it was dark and it was really difficult to see what the guide was pointing out. The guide was engaging and informed and tried her best to get the crowd participating. I did however think the tour had a bit of a down market feel... I think that given most of the guides are actresses...what would have made this tour excellent would have been a guide dressed up and acting in character..like someone from the show, giving us a real inside scoop. Failing that they could at least dress up a bit more.....so it has a more glitzy feel to it . The one thing I will say is that for the price, you get a good 3 and a half hour tour which is very good value for money.
