On Location Tours

My sister was visiting from Nashville and we were looking for something fun to do in New York City. A colleague had recommended the "Sex and the City" tour. We had so much fun and lots of laughs. We were amazed how popular the tour was- our trip was sold out. The guide was very personable and knowledgable. Definitely recommend this trip. Robyn from Long Island

Not a bad tour. The air conditioning on the bus wasn't working which made an uncomfortable trip. There was also something happening in Newark which made the tour detour missing a site or two. The TV reviews of where the sceens took place were good and helped put things into sequence. The guide was knowledgeable

The tour guide engaged the group by her knowledge, interest and enthusiasm. I'm glad the video was incorporated into the tour as not only a reference point but kept the energy level up. I was amazed that so many nyc sights were filmed during the series. If one is truly interested in the topic, it is a really fun day to experience the city through another set of eyes.

Jennifer was our guide and she was enthusiastic and very informative. We covered many locations and heard both older and up to date movies and TV shows. I was surprised that we did not go anywhere in Central Park as a stop. But other than that we were very entertained. The cookie giveaway is a plus. Jennifer did a very good job of descriptions and answering questions. I have recommended this tour to others and would take some of the other tours you have when I return to the city. My niece and nephew who are teenagers were extremely impressed with the tour. This was what they expressed they enjoyed the most that we did during our trip.

My neice shared her experience about this tour when she went last year. It was a fun time from the begining to the end. I was amazed how much I remembered from the episodes of the shows. I learned a lot from the Sexionary educational part of the tour. I don't want to tell too much, you have to go on this tour for yourself. It's awsome.

The tour was excellent you visit all the major sites including Carries apartment, the sex shop, and the bar! Excellent interaction with the tour guide as you go round the city and watch clips from the series! Its great to actually see the locations where the girls were filmed - looking forward to rewatching the episodes so that I can recognise everything! Even get to sample cup cakes and cosmos! The tour guide (we had Louise) is well informed and enthusiastic and certainly put everyone in the right mood for the tour! The only minor fault I have is where the video clips had been played many times before some of the scenes were a bit fuzzy but other than that it was great and I'll be recommending it to anyone who has watched the series that visits New York!

it was scorching hot the August weekend my husband and I came to NYC for my birthday, we wanted to do and see as much as possible in the short itme we were there, on our last day there we were tossed between the sopranos tour and a yankee game, well considering the heat and the fact that we both are sopranos freaks we decided this was deffinatly the way to go, all I can say is GREAT CHOICE!! 1st off the bus had AC 2nd it started raining and the game was delayed 3rd and most important was the excellent tour, a must for any die hard sopranos fan.. the tour guid was witty and had beyond extensive knowlege of the show/cast, the trivia questions and prizes were allot of fun, the italian mob music playing in the background was a great touch, the stops and locations were allot of fun it felt like you were right there in an episode, and the canolli was a great touch, ending it at the bada bing was a great touch although I personaly felt a bit uncomfrotable in a stripper bar, we had the option of waiting in the air conditioned bus for the rest of the group..all and all id say its a must do for a trip to NJ/NYC its not to be missed!!!

I booked this tour for my girlfriend who is a big S&TC fan. I've never really watched the show (I was one of only two people on the bus who hadn't seen the film). To be honest I wasn't looking forward to the tour but I really enjoyed it. The guide was hilarious and did a great job. The tour also took me to some parts of NY that I hadn't really visited before - so I got to learn a little bit more about the best city in the World. I was a little taken aback by how some (actually most) of the women on the tour seemed to know every last detail about the show - and I mean every last detail - we are talking obsessive with a capital "O"! My girlfriend loved the tour and I'm happy to admit that I had a great time too - but I'm not sure I'll be buying the S&TC DVD box set just yet! Highly recommended - even if you're not a fan of the show.

This tour is highly recommended. Well worth the money. The tour guide Lindsey was excellent. she was really helpful and had a lot of knowledge about sex and the city and New York. There are both men and women on the tour.

I had such an awesome time. The guide was really enthusiastic and fun and even though I had my boyfriend along who was a little bummed that he had to go on this tour I still had an awesome time. Playing clips right before you saw different locations was a really good way to make sure everyone knew what they were looking for and to remind everyone what scene the location was in. I had an awesome time, totally and completely worth it.

I liked that the tour took you to places and neighbourhoods you would have never visited as a normal tourist. Nevertheless it was essential to have a sound knowledge of all kinds of tv series and actors (not only the ones from SATC) to follow our guide's explanations. Still good fun, maybe a bit too long.

I recently finished watching the entire seasons of Sex and the City on dvd. I feel in love with the show. I was excited to go on the tour of New York. I found our tourist guide extremely friendly and very personable. She was full of information and funny remarks. The tour showed a lot of the sites used on the show. I especially enjoyed the cupcakes and the picture on "Carrie's" footsteps. I highly recommend this to any fans of the show.

The humour and sassiness of the tv show were captured on this tour and my husband and I had a ball. The cupcakes at Magnolia bakery, the Patricia Field store and Carrie Bradshaw's front steps were the highlights of a fun afternoon. We went back to a lot of the sights the next day for some more shopping/eating! Our tour guide was extremely likeable and a lot of fun to be around - the vibe was infectious! I would highly recommend this tour.

We did feel like "the only gays on the bus" but you know what? It didnt matter, adn even better, we were surrounded by a group of women on hen parties, in couples, some had dragged boyfriends/husbands, but all in all this was my personal highlight of staying in New York. To be honest its not just about SATC, its about familiarising yourself with a city you have seen and almost lived through via this great TV show. Not only that but it is actually very informative, and takes you to parts of NYC that we wouldnt have thought about making the effort to explore. Definately, definately recommend the tour. Just through your inhibitions outta the window.
