On Location Tours

i'd reccommend this tour to everyone who wants to hear interesting details in New York, even if you're not a big fan of the show, its a great tour of Manhattan. it is a bus ride around all the spots where fiming has been done (80% of the show is fimed in the city!) and after a few sights we see the clips of the show to see how and where the places were used. the tour guide was really enthusiastic and of course things got a little dirty!! we stopped at the "pleasure chest" where we got a 10% discount and then the show's costume designer's shop - can't remember the name! we got very tasty free cupcakes n then went to see the Carrie's "front door". final stop was O'Neal's bar where we all had discounted Cosmopolitans! finally ended the tour back near 5th Ave where it all began. lots of fun, really interesting facts about the show and its always great to meet other fans! worth every cent!

The tour started out great and we were immediately introduced to a movie location around the very first corner. There was one interesting point after another with matching clips to showcase the spot. We especially liked the "off bus" stops, to look around the various areas of Manhattan. Thanks!

I had only seen a few episodes of the show but went on the tour with a family member. I enjoyed it so much that I'm planning to buy the series on DVD. Our tour guide, Lisa, was excellent. Not only was she funny and informative but she also pointed out some hot spots and great restaurants. My only regret is that we did the tour on our last day in NYC instead of the 1st so we didn't get a chance to check out some of the places she recommended. Great job Lisa!!!

Just wanted to let other Sex And The City fans that this trip is a MUST! Went on the tour last weekend and it was fantastic and really good value for money! The highlight has to be sitting on Carrie's apartment step! Our tour guide Lisa was a fountain of SATC trivia and really made our day. My advice is book it and book it NOW! I say this because while we were queuing there were other people who just turned up and they were turned away! (rightly disappointed!) If you're a fan of the show I can't recommend this trip enough! One of the highlights of my NYC trip!

I am A true Fan of Sex and the City and found the tour to be very exciting. It was my first time in New York so I needed something to teach me the ropes of the streets. From Big's Big engagment, Carrie's fetish with shoes, Miranda's "Spanking mistake", Chorlette's Elizabeth Taylor's party in the park, to Samathas fear of holding the Smith's hand. It is all their from BIGgining to end. Can't forget about the Aidan and Steves either. Not to mention the great pictures and a chance to buy the Rabbit for 15% off, followed by a tasty treat and a picture on the one and only famous stairs of Miss Bradshaw. If you are a true fan or someone who wants a tour that's not average at all...this is the tour to take...you'll get the feel of the city and isn't that what a tour is supposed to be about! Guys don't be shy, plenty of guys were on the bus, and trust me they loved hangin with the ladies while drinking a cosmo close to the end of the tour. (I Don't recommend to take anyone under 18yr. Come on, the tour is called Sex in the City!)

I found this tour a lot of fun just because it took us inside the show more. The leader was very enthusiastic. I enjoyed watching clips as we visited the different sites as well.

My daughter and I enjoyed the tour. It was a good tour of Manhattan as well as showing points of interest from the show. We liked that there were clips from the program that were shown on the bus after we passed a location. The stops were made were fun and well-timed. We did not appreciate being solicited for tips (by the tour guide for herself) twice.

It was so cool to see places the show was filmed. Stopping along the way to go in the sex shop where "the rabbit" was purchased, having a Cosmo at Steve and Aidan's bar, and seeing Carrie's brownstone were well worth the trip. Our tour guide was great (Patty) and very generous with behind the scene info/gossip! Just some advice that is NOT posted on the website...even though seating on the tour buses is supposed to be "1st come, 1st served", it is NOT. Although the confirmation and e-ticket you receive after purchasing your tickets online state that you need to be in the meeting location 15-20 mins. early, doing so does NOT guarantee that you will actually get to sit with, or anywhere near, the person/people you came with. Several pairs of friends (including my friend and myself) all experienced this. The seller for this tour is "OnLocation Tours, Inc". Although the guide on our bus was great, the tour manager (Rochelle) was not even remotely professional. She basically told us that any issues we had with seating were not her concern and that we could give up our tickets if we didn't like the arrangement. I still recommend the tour, just be cautious of the tour company's "rules".

It was so much fun to see all the fun places the SITC girls go. Saw many areas in NYC that are not on the usual tours. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to come again and do the TV tour.

I visited New York City on Saturday, May 28, 2005, with my sister-in-law. We came from PA, in celebration of my 30th birthday on May 29, 2005. I was not a die-hard Sex & the City fan, but my sister-in-law is. WE HAD A BLAST!! Our tour guide was super - she was smart, funny, you name it. Very knowledgable of everything. I saw she had a "cheat sheet" up front with her, but she hardly ever looked at it. The couple of places we stopped at were fun. We especially loved the Cosmos. They were excellent!!! The best we've ever tasted. Anyway, although I was not a huge fan and didn't catch every episode, I still liked the show and found the tour very informative. It started on time (even though the tour was overbooked and there were a few glitches). The other tourists were all friendly and gracious. It was just a great time. I definitely recommend this to anyone who ever watched Sex & the City, even if it was just a few episodes. The tour was AWESOME!!!

Great tour and guide with some great ideas for where to eat and drink in the city

This tour is perfect for ANY Sex and the City fan! Not only do you get to visit the sites of your fav scenes from the show, but you get a great look at Manhattan as a whole. The tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and pleasant. She gave us great ideas for things to do and see in NY. I would highly recommend this to everyone!!!

My group thought that one of the best parts of this tour was that you got to see the Hip and Trendy side of NYC. Our tour guide was so young and fun, and she was able to tell us that this is where locals and/or celebrities go and this is the hottest new place! It was great to see a new side of NYC instead of the same old boring stuff that has been around for ages. We all love SATC, and seeing where they filmed was really cool. However, we thought the best part was that we got to go to the Meat Packing District and other local places that we normally wouldn't have known where anything other than a restaurant. I am keeping my 'sex-tionary' to use as a guide when I come back to try some of these trendy bars and restaurants instead of just finding something in a NYC guide.

This was a great tour for both fans that have seen the show a zillion times, and people like me, who know the general gist and outcome but aren't crazy about the show. It is especially nice for the out of towners who get to see all the different parts of new york, from madison ave to the meat packing district and the village. I would strongly recommend this to people familiar with the show and fans of NYC. I liked my tour guide too, very funny
