My friend is a fan of Gossip Girl but I have personally not seen a single episode. My friend really enjoyed the tour as did I because it was a great way to see the city and our guide was really enthusiastic and fun. It was great that she herself was a big fan of the show but she also gave other information about the city and sites that interests non-fans. The only thing that might make the tour even better is if there was a way to have an open-air bus. |

It was a great tour. I did "Gossip Girls" a few weeks earlier, and that's when I learned about Sopranos. After we arrived home - I watched Sopranos again - and enjoyed it more than ever! |

My daughter loves Gossip Girls. I've never watched the show. Even without knowing the show - the tour guide was very informative. It was truly one of the best days I have ever spent with my 16 year old daughter. We will remember the day forever! |

The tour guide was absolutely amazing. She knew so much about so many movies and shows (which is her job, I suppose - but she was more than informative, at least more than I expected out of a tour guide). She was funny, attentive, informative, and willing to answer any and all questions that I (or others) had on the tour.
And the tour itself is especially nice if you want to see a bunch of Manhattan in one day since you go to various neighborhoods. I would recommend this to tourists and NYC residents if they've never done it before.

Our husbands went on the tour and although they were the only men on the tour really enjoyed it. I found it very interesting and look forward to seeing more show on Sex and the City to see where we were. The tour guide was great and funny. |

I enjoyed this tour very much. My favourite locations viewed included the Ghostbusters firehouse, the Friends apartment block and fountain and the Crosby show house.
I think there was the right mix of time on and off the coach. The lunch stop was a surprise as I was expecting to have to wait until the end of the tour. That Ben's Pizza (from MIB) sure has quick service.
In terms of references to films and TV shows there were a few that I had seen and others that I had not even heard of let alone seen. How relevant these clips are depends on the mix and age group on the coach I suppose. There could have been a few more blockbusters or popular films referred to e.g. Die Hard with a Vengeance.
Overall, worthwhile. |

My sister and I are HUGE SATC fans, and we had the time of our lives!! We are from Ontario Canada, and it was my first visit to NY. Loved the city, loved the tour, I would do it again in a heartbeat! Especially loved the stop at Scout!
I was only back home one day, and had to watch the first movie again, to replay the restaurant scene, the rehearsal dinner party of Carrie and Big.
I would highly recommend this tour to any fans!!! Only wish Big was there to greet us at the end!! LOL |

It was great being able to see the actual places where things were filmed and see the clips along with it on the bus. Stephanie, our tour guide, was fabulous! Informative and friendly and a lot of fun. The stops were great too ... particularly in the West Village for a visit to Carrie's stoop and Magnolia Bakery. Thought I might not enjoy it as much since I was out on business and solo on the tour, but it was fabulous! |

We enjoyed it immensely. It is important to have seen some of the shows and be familiar with the characters and places. The guide (Marc) was thoughtful enough to ask if we had seen the last episode (we hadn't - we're Netlexing it and are in year 4)) and he purposely avoided telling us the conclusion. The Tony look-a-like at Holsten's was a friendly, gracious treat. There is great personal insight into many of the actors. The description of some of the various inconsistencies, particularly in the introduction footage, is also fun.
We were amazed at how many foreign visitors were on the tour and seemed to enjoy it as much as we did; we are from NJ and got special attention at various times. |
