On Location Tours

I was very excited leading into this tour as I had such a good time on the 'sex and the city' tour run by the same provider. What I found great was visiting Holstens and the Bada Bing. It was also great to see one of the actors from the show before leaving on the tour. The rest of the tour left a lot to be desired. The tour guide while full of information spent the 3 hours firing questions at us and letting us know about how many episodes of the show he was an extra on. I felt that the tour could have been shorter by watching video footage as we travelled from place to place instead of sitting on the side of the road and watching the footage. All in all a disappointing experience.

I took my 26 year old daughter who moved to NYC three years ago. We had a great time. Our group leader's name was Amy. She was wonderful and I feel we got our moneys worth. We hit so many of the special places from the show and the different neighborhoods of the city. I loved the cupcakes and the freedom we had to browse and shop at the different stops. Also, the clips from the show that we saw on the bus added to the trip. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who is a fan of the show.

All in all the tour was fun, {my friends & I are huge fans of the show} and we got to explore parts of the city we've never experienced before. The only suggestion I would make is to show the clips prior to going to the locations. Our bus driver was extremely skilled on maneuvering tight corners and city streets - kudos to him!! Note to Tim, in South Africa's, Mother - remember to keep your hands to yourself. No one appreciates a complete stranger putting your hand over their mouth; you're quite lucky I didn't get up and smack you!!!!

I am a huge Sopranos fan but I must say this tour was just way too long. A lot of the spots seemed really unnecessary and just average parts of New Jersey not unique to the show. The most interesting aspects of the tour were seeing the ice cream parlor, Bada Bing, and other specific landmarks from the show. I just think most of the sites were very generic and the tour did not need to be four hours. It was enjoyable just too exaggerated.

Had a good time on hte Gossip girl tour- would have liked to have more time at the stops- but overall enjoyed the tour!

I absolutely love gossip girl. I thought the host was fantastic (kate). She wsa very knowledgable and enthusiastic at all times. Great tour!

The Gossip Girl bus tour was a LOT of fun - I had a friend visiting from another city and she and I and a few local friends took the tour - we are huge fans of the show and thought this tour did it great justice. We also loved that it gave us a chance to see a large part of the city with ease. Our tour guide, Kate, was great!

My friend and I truely enjoyed this tour, but found it to be a bit too long for our liking. The facts about the tour were fun, but we wished the clips were longer, and that instead of the tour being 3.5 hours, 2.5 hours would have been much better. Getting on/off the bus was very time consuming, and I wish we could have spent more time shopping and watching clips rather than sitting in traffic (but traffic in NYC is always unpredictable!). Overall we enjoyed ourselves, but a not to the tour guide: please turn for the microphone volume!

I took my mom on this tour, and she had so much fun, as did I! I think my cheeks actually hurt afterwards from smiling so much the whole time! Our tour guide was Lou, who was awesome. She was funny, and fitting the feel of the show; she knew what she was talking about, and made the tour even better. She took some great pictures of my mom and I that I will love forever! I thought the tour was fabulous and 3.5 hours flew by! It is really a perfect way to see the city. After the tour, my mom and I went to see the movie which we loved as well. It was a truly wonderful day; thank you!

Our guide was entertaining and knowledgable. His interactive style made the trip more entertaining for my teenage boys. My wife loved the knowledge he shared and I thought he was very professional.

I went on the tour as an activity for me and my girlfriend. We had a really nice time. We loved movies and loved seeing locations of where things took place. It kind of makes you feel a little connected to the movie or TV show. The tour guide Gary was excellent. He possessed lots of enthusiasm and filled the bus with humor. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone who can be star struck by a location.

I thought it was a little dull. Gary, the tour guide, was great though.

I've been on the tour before so I suggested it to my friends as a good way to see parts of NY they haven't seen before while also seeing spots related to the show and movie. We all had a great time.
