On Location Tours

Went on the tour with my daughter, who is a fan of the show. The luxury bus takes you to Soho, the MeatPacking District, Midtown East, West Village, and a few other neighborhoods that we otherwise would never see on our own. Clips from the show are interspersed on an overhead screen. I only wish we could have gone into the Plaza Hotel or the Public Library, because we were told how incredible they are inside.

Tour leader was knowledgeable and funny (amy) - enjoyed her banter! It's a good tour do early in your trip to New York so you get an overall idea of the city, them you cam go back and check out the bits you liked the look of!

My family and I occasionally visit NYC but have never toured Central Park. In my search for tours, this was really the only tour I could find that would provide some insight to the Park's history; even it is only insight into "movies or television shows" filmed in the park. The park has bike rentals, which was not what I was looking for. This tour was guided by a young aspiring actress. Although she was very energetic, she repeated herself quite a bit about which movies and television shows were filmed in the park. There are a lot of statues in the park but none were talked about. Plus, the tour only covered about 1/3rd of the park. If you are a movie or television buff, you will enjoy this tour. If you want more insight or history of the park, this is not the tour to take.

It was a fun tour! A good way to see many parts of the city. The tour guide, Anna, made it a lot better. She was very enthusiastic and funny. Did not care much for the stop in Soho. Could be shorter.

Anna was our tour guide. She was really knowledgeable and was really nice to communicate with. From the sites - we saw what we wanted to see - soo many information and sooo many sites that your head spins. I would recommend this to anyone who's a movie or tv show fan.

This was my first time on a tour in New York and I would highly recommend this to any SATC fan. Our guide Lou was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable about the show, movies, and the city. Although some of the locations had since been changed, Lou made sure to provide us with as much detail as possible about the location. Many of the spots in the movie and television series were visited. The on bus video also provided a "refresher" for those of us who haven't watched in a while. In addition to the tour I found many other spots in New York that I would like to take the time to visit. A+

I gave this tour to a friend as a birthday gift. The tour guide (Stephanie?) was very knowledgeable not only about the history of central park but also about the many movies and TV shows filmed or hilighted there. The tour was at a good pass for all ages. A great way to spend a few hours

I am not a GG fan but my best friend is so I got these tickets for her birthday. She loved the tour because she recognized all the places and got the chance to reenact some of her favorite moments from the show. The guide showed clips from the show where the locations had been used before we actually saw them, so even though I had limited knowledge of the show I knew what was going on at all times. I recommend this tour for people who really know the show and are familiar with all characters and major events.

While the tour was fun and the tour guide was knowledgeable, the DVR kept messing up and therefore we didn't get to see all the reminder clips, or if we did see them they were way out of sequence. Also the "rabbit" store had a malfunction with their register so no one was able to purchase anything so that was pretty much a waist of 20 minutes of the tour. Additionally, our tour was not completely full but that store was packed and difficult to get around. I can't imagine how frustrating that stop would be with a full tour. I know these things may be somewhat out of the tour operators control (although the DVR seems to be an important factor of the tour and therefore should be a main checkpoint prior to the tour), but it still took away from our experience and reduced the 'value' of the tour.

We enjoyed our tour with Amy! She was very funny and gave us plenty of opportunities to recall our favourite moments from the show and movies. Unfortunately the Pleasure Chest was not able to put purchases through on the day we went through, but the cupcakes in Greenwich Village, and the Cosmo in 'Scout' (AKA O'Neials) were fab. The free time in/around Bleecker street was a highlight. The tour is worth it for true fans, but my hubby tagged along just fine.

My friend and I went on the tour and it was GREAT!!! Our tour guide, Amy she is so enthusiastic and funny!! We loved her! and our driver to, Larry :) we recommended to anyone that wants to see the city in a fun way :)

I thought the overall tour was good, but we left at 10am and didn't get back until nearly 3:00. I think spending 20+ mins at the bada bing is a waste. There should be a table set up with merchandise to sell so the line to the "store room" isn't that long. Overall good tour and the guide, Marc, was great and knowledgeable.

Our guide lindsay really knows a lot, it was interesting and entertainung the same time. Absolutely recommendae!

Our guide was Staci and she was funny. We had a lot of fun. I recommend the tour if you want to know a new part of NYC (Meatpacking District) which is really a nice place to visit. Thank you for the tour... and the cupcakes!!!
